Well the sale from Ford to David Richards' Prodrive may be complete soon.

On a forum, they question maybe that Prodrive may brand their F1 team as Aston Martin... In the article, they are suggesting that the F1 project may not happen!!!!

With money of Prodrive he's buying back Aston Martin out of Ford's hands.

With this he can name the team Aston Martin, better for sales and advertising with this marque.

It's just a smart procedure for better salesment of Aston's...

Just like Spyker did with Midland F1, and now driving Ferrari engine's because the same man who is 12% property of Spyker is the same man who has 5% property of Ferrari.... 8)

It'd be great to see the Aston name in F1... just hope that's what our Dave's planning! Perhaps an opening for Cosworth there...

I could see that. They do work with Ford in Aussie V8's I think. Not sure. But even then they also work with Aston Martin themselves on the DBR9 cars. They run that team for Aston Marting. Obviously now, Richards wants to own AND run it! - Which is ace.

Why not get some engineers working on an F1 engine? Obviously he's gonna know some people, obviously Aston Martin can amake killer engines.... and on top of that, there's always Subaru who they run the World Rally team for. They could get some of their engineers on the case.
