hi mate. this is not a patch for gp2 . it is a complete stand alone version of it you just extract it and play.. it does not affect your original gp2 installation in any way

I see what you mean, but can I just pull out the engine sounds the way I described and install those just into my normal gp2? (Merry christmas to you!)

Just extract the whole package to another folder. Open GP2Edit, go to the configs and change GP2 location to the 1991 gp2 folder. Import what you want, save as a carset. Then you can change the GP2 location back to the folder where the GP2.exe you actually use for playing and you can export the sounds. After that, you can delete the 1991 folder if you don't want it.

I want to say I am so dissapointed I did not find this earlier. The sounds for the engine are amazing. I just drove for 2 hours straight. With new sounds the game is completely new!

Can somebody help me with providing this package? (please!)
I'd really like to try this and maybe post a race with the new sound on my YouTube channel.
