Re: GP2 Racing World - British GP - Qualifying
Jurg Woldenberg takes the win at Silverstone and Rick Woldenberg completes an all dutch britis race
Again, like Vettel. But is not a win for Todorov. Was just a few meters before a broken suspension. So the race was entirely up to Jurg Woldenberg, who took the flag and makes a great step towards the runner up in the final positions. Pettri Kartunen and another very very good race for him in third, and Andreas Schulz, who incredibly recovered from the middle of the pack to the fourth place. Emerson dos Santos was 10th but he did his first point in the championship!
The start and Todorov commanding the positions
Antonio Pessoa did an excelent start and was containing Roberto Remedio for many laps.
And then all went down for Todorov. He just could give one lap
So Remedio started to lead, with Pessoa, Remedio, both Woldenberg, Kartunnen and Nuvolari for the six first drivers
Rick Woldenber passing Pessoa for the second place in a great move
But Pessoa didn´t give up and recovered the position
Remedio and another engine gone in the year...
Barbosa and a close encounter with Thomas Kost. Behind, was Arabajiev
Kartunen, very near of overtaking one of the DRTW - Viper
The Club corner proved to be a bit harsh for some drivers. Firstly Stunnenberg and one of the Pixel Dreams had spins.
The positions after the first stop. Andreas Schulz and the strategy bumped him to third.
Nuvolari vs Pessoa. The italian driver won.
Arabajiev fighting with one of the Simtek.
Pessoa loosing all posibility to make some points. He spun and went to the back of the positions.
Whle Nuvolari was slowing down due to the engine, Thomas Kost was too much optimistic to pass and crashed into the Peze. He had to go to pits.
Markus Rotten and Marco Schiavon two drivers who did a conservative, but good race finishing in the points.
And this is the end. Jurg Woldenberg, first.
Drivers championship positions:
Constructors championship positions:
Being Todorov champion, the second place for the drivers positions or the second for constructors is not defined, yet. We´ll have the next GP at Suzuka, another gem in the league. Thanks to John Edwards and Andreas for this Silverstone track.

Re: GP2 Racing World - British GP - Race Results!
This time I cannot say that Im dissapointed with Arabajiev's behaviour, he was fighting well. But the Vettel's luck from Abu Dhabi is with me now.
Re: GP2 Racing World - British GP - Race Results!
Wow!!!! 1-2 in Silverstone, nice race.... the 2nd place in the drivers and constructors championship is our main target now.
Re: GP2 Racing World - British GP - Race Results!
It was a promissing race. At least Leo has finished it.

Todorov still live in Suzuka
Georgi Todorov abandoned the race in Silverstone, but still he has the best car. Today in Suzuka he did the best time for pole and will start the race from first. As in the last races, Jurg Woldenberg and Rick Woldenber will start form the two following positions and Andreas Schulz did better than both Caccere cars, in fourth. Remedio and Barbosa will have the 5 and 6 starting positions, Kost, Kartunnen, Dings and Nuvolari complete the first 10 spots.

Re: GP2 Racing World - Japanese GP - Qualifying
Japanese GP - Suzuka
Todorov won in the land of the raising? sun
Georgi Todorov won in Suzuka, but worried by a late in the race spin. DRTW - Viper couldn´t put both cars in the front and the fight for the second place in the drivers and constructor championship is still open. The same for Caccere with just one car finishing. Good job for both AS-TK F1 - BMW cars, finishing 4th and 5th and for both Peze entering again in the points. Arabajiev got two more points for Team Bulgaria.
The race started under a grey sky. Todorov takes the lead followed by the pack. At the back the first incident with Nuri Hummels crashing.
One of the first overtaking moves. Remedio goes over Schulz.
Later, Roberto attacked his team mate, just before 130R.
And Andreas doing the same over Barbosa. It seems that the Caccere car had some problem in the opening laps.
Marco Schiavon crashed with Stunnenberg who did a spin and finished in the middle of the track.
Some action here. Markus Rotter, Remedio, both DRTW - Viper and an expecting Schulz, when the first round of stops. The Minarae -with old tyres- was being attacked from everywhere.
The Stig burned the engine, but was able to go to pits for repairs. He continued.
Jurg Woldenberg attacks Schulz. The german counter attacked in the last chicane.
Barbosa going out of the race.
Todorov and a rare mistake at the last chicane.
One of who gave more battle to Todorov was... a backmaker. Rickard Alingas with the K-Speed recovering one lap against Todorov. He was with fresh tyres and was faster than the Team Bulgaria´s car, but the marshalls didn´t show the blue flags. What they was thinking?
Lap 43. Todorov makes a mistake in corner 9 and was standing still in the middle of the track. Unfortunatelly for Alingas, he crashed the barriers trying to dodge Todorov´s car. Todorov´s advantage over Rick Woldenberg came to just 6 seconds, from 21...
One of the AD Heave drifting in Suzuka
And Todorov takes the checkered flag.

Still two races to finish. A race in another real track in Malasia - Sepang and the one and only fictional track in the league: Ultima. In theory, even Tazio Nuvolari could be second in the league, to Todorov. And as always, this time the thanks goes to Derek Hicks, for this Suzuka track.
Re: GP2 Racing World - Japanese GP - Race Results!
Finally a good finish for both my drivers.
Re: GP2 Racing World - Japanese GP - Race Results!
Bronze in Silverstone is golden Good point snatchings for the team in many races so far, order for more champagne!
Re: GP2 Racing World - Japanese GP - Race Results!
The fun thing is I actually did have trouble with going into turn 2 at Suzuka in these games for some time, so this was a fitting coincidence.

Qualifying
[/b]Todorov is the poleman for the race at Sepang and Roberto Remedio will be at second starting place. In the second row Jurg and Rick Woldenberg share third and fourth positions and Barbosa and Schulz will be in the third row. Kartunnen and Markus Rotter will start in good positions (the Minarae driver very excited about this).

Re: GP2 Racing World - Malasyian GP - Qualifying!
Malasyian GP Race Result
[/b]Todorov and Team Bulgaria won in Malasyia... again
[/b]Todorov won this race back to back with no problems at all. Both DTRW - Viper, Roberto Remedio and Andreas Schulz closed the first five positions.
Start of the race and first corner. Todorov in the head of the pack, then both DTRW-Viper and a brave Schulz overtaking for the inside, gaining positions and jumping to third, ahead of J. Woldenberg. Remedio has lost some terrain and stays ahead of team mate Barbosa.
The backstraight, a place of overtaking. And in this one, Woldenberg recovers against Schulz.
Jens Dings attacks J Woldenberg
Remedio decides to go over Dings and overtakes in the start/finish straight
Later, is Barbosa who passed Dings
Both MSR working together to get through the field
Barbosa and an electrical problem that left him in the back of the pack. The brazilian never could recover from this problem.
Alex Diehl and a spin that backed him to last.
Nuvolari having some engine problem
Todorov´s AFT. Nobody in sight and an easy pace.
Both DTRW - Viper overtaking each other
While Schulz was provisionaly at the front, Markus Rotter - who still didn´t stop- fighted with Todorov. The Minarae was easy for the bulgarian.
Poor Barbosa, this was the place for him after the forced pitstop: fighting at the back with Henning Fisser and Jake Sanson
Not much to see in the last laps. Just this move of Karttunnen over Dings
And Todorov wins the race without even a scratch

Next race will be the last one in the Ultima circuit. From there we´ll start to think about the next championship as I want to do some small changes. On the cars department, maybe we´ll use a new carset or a new shape, but all this will be theme for another thread.Re: GP2 Racing World - Malasyian GP - Race Results!
For me this league will be unforgetable.

[/b]Qualifying
[/b]Todorov closes the year with another pole for the row. He settled the fastest time, along with Jurg Woldenberg, Roberto Remedio and an out the box The Stig in his career´s best starting position, while Marco Schiavon is behind. What a qualy for the M.S.R.! In general, some people who used to be behind, is now in the middle, like Jurate Gemskyte and Dan Richards, while incredibly, Arabajiev didn´t make the grid.
