Don't worry, there's no rush. Still several months until the whole thing will be ready!

And what about your plans for a FIA GT1 carset? How are the chances you'll realize it?
I still plan to do something with GT's, GT1 is still on the agenda but I may also do the other classes, perhaps a GT Le Mans car set? This is still some way off though, I want to get all the touring car sets out of the way first. Once the templates for that are done, the actual carsets should be finished pretty quickly. It's mainly the templates that take up all the time. Hopefully I'll be starting on some GT-style cars in the Autumn.

Caccere will run Chevrolet Lacetti :)

I would also chose the BMW, but lets give some variety to the set ;)

Oooh, one very important thing I should have mentioned before but forgot about #-o

You'll need new car number positions in GP2Edit. That's probably another problem that RacerBG was experiencing, sorry mate!

Just go click the number position editor button (the black 1 on a red background) in GP2Edit then input these values:

First Car Nose
Nose X Coord 82, Nose Y Coord 145
X Coord 118, Y Coord 38, Width 65, Height 14

Second Car Nose
Nose X Coord 82, Nose Y Coord 145
X Coord 118, Y Coord 53, Width 65, Height 14

First Car Wing
Left Wing X Coord 113, Left Wing Y Coord 97, Right Wing X Coord 113, Right Wing Y Coord 97
X Coord 118, Y Coord 0, Width 65, Height 14

Second Car Wing
Left Wing X Coord 113, Left Wing Y Coord 97, Right Wing X Coord 113, Right Wing Y Coord 97
X Coord 118, Y Coord 15, Width 65, Height 14

Then click OK.

Now when you export you car it'll export the correct number positions too. Can't believe I forgot this!

Finally installed Paint.net and started to work with Cruzer template. Not much progress yet, just admired the way the template was done:) It's just great. And this touring cars carset is great idea (otherwise I'd still be too stuck on with the formulas, so why not both:D

That Cruze template is out of date and so is its carshape, ignore it completely! There'll be a shiny new one posted tomorrow for you.

Thanks:) One thing about the template: the wheels on the layer window should be two steps higher (?), at least I can't see the wheels otherwise (purple colored).

What a progress from previous Cruzer template, marvellous work =D>

Make sure you're following the instructions in the GP2form to the letter. The colour of the wheels is governed by the Livery 2 layer, make sure you re-colour them to the colour you want the wheels. Then merge it down into the Livery 1 layer before you flatten the image.
