So, I decided to split this particular subject off the main thread as a way of keeping everyone updated and confirming who is taking part.

Firstly I'll keep a list here of what cars I'll be making and what I've actually finished so you can all get an idea of which car you'd like to use as a base and when it's available:

The numbers you intend to use.

I will keep this list updated as I get confirmation from people.

What you will need in your *.1tm file:
The car bitmap (obviously)
Driver, team and engine names (for the engine name just put the make of car you're using, eg BMW, Chevrolet)
Menu pictures (any style you like)
You won't need to do in-game helmets. so just leave those blank.

When you've done all that, send your *.1tm file to me at dan.richards.79@gmail.com

The release date will probably be in December some time.

Just a quick note: even if you weren't involved in the 2010 fan's carset, you can still be involved in this one. Some slots may become available if people don't want to take up their slot, so don't feel excluded just because you're new.

Just a quick note: the car templates will be in Paint.NET's *.pdn form so you'll need to download said program, but it's useful, pretty simple to use, and well worth the price (it's free).

I have it dont worry but how to make them exactly with 256 colors in paint.net because I still have this problem

Don't worry, that'll all be explained in the GP2Form file when I post the templates.

Ok thank you very much, because even HF wasnt enough for me.

In the interest of simplicity, I'd keep the numbers I had last year. AD2011 would "enter" a Volvo C30.

Caccere will enter with our traditional numbers 9 and 10. Still didn't chose the car.

I also don't know yet which car I want to use. Maybe BMW or VW Golf. An own creation would be fancy as well.

I would be interested to see your take on a touring car! This weekend I should be starting on a new hatchback car shape, when I've done that I'll send you the completed car shapes if you like so you can have a play around.
