I had to do this motor too there are some years.. with 02,04 and 05. Perhaps we could to do a mix between them?

This is a good idea. Ater a quick test , it seems to me (other opinions needed!!) that best mix is

- Your 00 sound
- My 01 sound (or your 01with less volume)
- Your 02, 03 04
- Strangely, my 06 sound doesn't work properly :-k . If I put it in slot 05 it works...mhhh :-k

great sounds!
do you use a special program to edit the sounds? I tried to put in gp2edit some sounds from a bmw touring car...but then in the game the sound is strange...

AVS Audio editor WOULD be a perfect editor...But there is a problem in the free version: the program adds a noise when you edit a sound (f...cking bastards). Audacity is good to do all, except for converting the source audio to 8 bit PCM .

So, for my sounds I use AVS to make all editing, and audacity to cut away the bastards' noise. This means I need a long sound to make a decent work :(

....obviously there are no problems if you get a full-version of AVS .

I tried to create the sound of 1986 Renault engine, which powered Senna's Lotus, based in some videos on YouTube.
