Fantastic all those new tracks... Really!
I remember also someone was working on Portimao, could it be? Any news about it?

Lately, I haven't heard anymore news about Portimão. But I'm confident it will be released in 2013.

Already a few months only new tracks are released. Cool indeed but what happened to the carsets?

You have ask the carset makers. If you find one

El Pinar is ready for download.

@Antonio: I have replaced or modified all 0xc5/0xc6 command.
Most Ribbons- and objects flashings are sorted out.

Thank you Andreas! It was a nice improvement to the track! I tried to help Antonio with those commands but there was no improvement. I need to learn more about how to use them.

A question: since the GP2 can be slow depending on the system or emulation, is there need for lighter version for better frame rates?

if it's looks so, then it's great:) (not that I've ever aimed for "GPL-look", just trying to improve in scene making during track editings.)
