If you don't mind that the nature of this is promotional (I guess a certain drinks company was involved), and you'd find the contrast of having a modern race car let loose on an ancient track interesting, you might want to take a look at this.

From the unofficial category of "more or less impressively nuts racing still exists in modern times", I'd like to refer you to the two presentations here, showing how the most recent VLN race's winner got decided.

If you're somewhat familiar with the Nordschleife, watch closely where and how much the Porsche's front end gets airborne for brief moments. I'm thinking we're once again reaching the limits of what is somewhat safely possible on this track with the given cars...

I haven't seen onboard footage of the full track from this year's event, but you might enjoy some pieces of the Pikes Peak 2012 madness. It appears they laid down tarmac everywhere and I think we all understand motor racing well enough to understand that means people will have been going faster:

On the subject of hillclimbs, I'm glad some intestinal-vibrations-inducing-racecars-of-the-past (still) continue to be repurposed that way:

Excellent video as always but with sad end... You have great video editing skills by the way and if you promote GP2 with them we will have 1 million fans until tomorrow. .

Happy that it's a pleasure for you ! :D gp2 always in alive almost 20 years after ;)
It's true.. it was a very very sad weekend. The first grandprix I saw was the 1992 grandprix of belgium.. and then I watched all the 1993's season. This formula one was magic. I had 11 years when Senna died and I was very touched by this terrible event. After that, the formula one became soporific.. but more safely. It was incomprehensible that there had no tires protection. Senna would be probably alive..

And Schumacher won't be a 7 times World Champion.

Anyway don't worry about GP2. This game will survive!
