windo7 and gp2 editor

hello mates.. i have a small problem and if anyone could help me i would really appreciate that. well last month i bought a new pc with windows 7 .. while i manage to make gp2 work very easy with dosbox.0.74 i have problem in fixing the gp2 editor ... in my laptop in which i also use windows 7 everything including the editor works fine .. yes i can edit what i want in my laptop and then trasnport it in the pc but this is quite annoying sometimes... if anyone can help in order to make the editor work i would very happy [-o<

well the problem is that when i try to start the editor a message appears and says that this program is not compatitable with my windows version

You have Windows 7 64 bit right? I think that's the problem, because GP2edit is a 32 Bit Program.... Virtual PC should fix that problem I think.

yes i have this edition... but what is the virtual pc ???/

Virtual PC emulates older Windows System, while you're running your main one. On that way I often did some changes in GP2 etc.

This is a FREE Microsoft product, so you can suppose from where. :wink:

After that get one virtual HDD file (for example for Win XP) and run VPC. Thats all. :)

It's free, simply type in Google "Virtual PC Download". Just like VirtualBox.
All you need is a Windows CD to install it, cause download VHD Files with already installed systems is illegal and I don't want to post links to those warez sites here ;)

When you have Win7 Professional or higher you can activate the XP Mode with the Virtual PC as described above. Else you need an installable Version of Win XP
