I'd like to wish everyone on board a nice transition into the new year. I'm kind of glad this past year is the past now, although I've drifted away from seeing a large significance in rather arbitrary number changes. I can say that I've watched the fireworks in a coat after more than two decades of jackets only, so I guess that's a sign that some things do change.

I'd also like to wish a happy new year to all...

Just off out for my morning run - they tell me it's worth it but I dunno - hands freezing, red nose and wearing a suit that makes me look like a multi coloured condom, is it really worth it?????????
