What a great album that is FK. I saw Muse in 2000 supported (bizarrely) by Coldplay in a tiny venue, and both bands were great!

Right now, in a complete departure from that style of music, I'm listening to "St Elmo's Fire" by Worksop's very own John Parr...

St. Elmo's Fire: I love that song. One of my all time favourites.

Now on youtube I listen Phenomena's Did It All For Love. With John Wetton on vocals.

I'll see Muse in the Summer when they come to "Rock am Ring", guess that will be awesome. Coldplay is a fantastic band, too, no doubt about that. I find that both styles are very similar, kind of progressive. There are things I like better, but it's definitive great music.

Searched for it on YouTube, but I don't think the song I found is what you mean... (it's some love song from the 80's)

I HATE Muse with a passion.

I saw them live in Birmingham @ NEC. Whilst I don't doubt how good-a-musicians they are, they were good live, they're tunes just do my fuckin' head in.- Matt Bellamy has the most whining-screechy voice in the world. Jsut plain annoying.

As I said, they're music is good, but they should kill the singer.

Ah Maxїmo Park. Good band.

AFAIK:

I'm a man, Not a machine
Chisel me down 'til I am clean
I buy books, I never read
And then I tell you some more about.. ME!

Beneath the concrete there is a sound
A muffled cry below the ground
There is poison in the air
A mix of chemicals and fear

Manners are just hunches
I'm not sure what they mean
You're asking for commitment
When I'm somewhere in between

Never never try to gauge temperature
When you tend to travel
At such speed
It's Our Velocity
Is it cold where you are this time of the year
You didn't leave a scar

A stream of numbers hit the screen
And you're expected to know what they mean
Throughout the conflict I was serene
I can't outrun the sadness I've seen

Are you willing to resist
For people you've never met
The devil's wheel revolves
But it needs to be reset

Never never try to gauge temperature
When you tend to travel
At such speed
It's Our Velocity
Please tell me is it cold where you are this time of the year
You didn't leave a scar

I've got no one to call
In the middle of the night anymore
I'm just alone
With my thoughts

I watched a film to change my feelings
Strong enough to bear a burden
If everyone became this sensitive
I wouldn't have to be so sensitive

If everyone became so sensitive
Perhaps I wouldn't be so sensitive

Love is a lie
Which means I've been lied to
Love is a lie
Which means I've been lying too
Love is a lie
Which means I've been lied to
Love is a lie

I've got no one to call
In the middle of the night anymore
I'm just alone
With my thoughts

Never, never try to guage temperature
When you tend to travel
At such speed
It's Our Velocity!
