Spa-Francorchamps: New Version?

Post by DEHUMANIZER95 »

Does there exists any versions of Spa 2008? I mean the track with the new track design. On the tracks downloads I can only find older versions.

And I don´t know how to use the track editor to make it.....

Im also unfamiliar with TE (the layot editing to be honest) and except Spa, there are other circuits which wil be good to be updated.

Maybe I'll take a try when find some free hours and passion.
It's not hard in this case to change the track layout.
Stupid monkey will understand how it's done in TE in 5 minutes. :D But the main part is CC line and graphics.
Unfortunately, when you change one tracksector to one degree, the whole CC-line is crashing.
That's a thing man working with track should think a lot about. But there's no impossible.
As I said:I will take a try.

I can do all needed graphics this is easy for me, but the track programming is not.

I agree to take part, only in graphics (the graphics inside the .jam files). I will do my best. 8)

That's all good. I started changing layout today, I think I'll finish on next week.
Is the 2008 graphics strongly needed ?
If not, racerbg, please, make 2011 graphics.
I took 2001 track as a base.

This one is from Addie Walti's guide:
"...the best way to work, is to underlay the map in the TE and then develope the track by trial and error. We do underlay the map by generating a bitmap, then calling the menu-function File / Underlay Bitmap, then fine adjustment of the underlaying bitmap in the track-tree, in the "Misc Config" section."

I red it, the problem is only image and its size and position.

So you've inserted bitmap and found misc config area in track tree? And show underlay bitmap is on? Then you need to edit those values to move and scale the bitmap.
