Brabham totally overshining van de Poele is pretty surprising but still the car doesn`t make it to the finishline. This season were truly some steps backwards and all hopes at the beginning of the season didn`t came reality, now fallen back even behind Larrousse is not good.

1993 was a season of two halves: of course everyone was happy at the Monaco Grand Prix with this impressive podium finish by De Cesaris who scored a point in the race before, bringing the teams total to 7 points. Furthermore, the Mugen engines did finally what they should've been doing for so long: helping Minardi to be more competetive. But on the other hand, McNish hasn't scored points yet (although he's looking strong). And now, the news of De Cesaris' accident has reached the team and crushed the morale. Whoever the yet to be named replacement is going to be, he has to make an impressive impact to keep Minardi's hope of the ominous 10 points alive.

The driver change from Brundle to Verstappen didn't quite worked out the way the team hoped for. With no qualifications for a race at all, the Arrows staff need to hope for a miracle in order to survive.

Another 2 DNQs don`t make things easier and the team is not satisfied with the performance. The best wishes to de Cesaris and Alliot, such accidents show that this is still a very dangerous sport.

The team continues to grab a couple of points occasionally but reliability has been too poor. H-H was unlucky to lose the race lead due to a spin in Croatia but his podium at Erding was sensational and helps the team very much. We continue to improve an challenge the big boys at some tracks. We still have much ground to make up, especially at faster tracks. We hope that Mercedes engines will give us this boost in 1994.

Yet again a transmission failure ruins our hopes of more points. We thought we could keep level with Ferrari but reliability has put paid to these hopes. We look forward to our 1994 car with which we hope to iron out our health problems.
On the subject of Arrows we wish the team the best of luck in their attempt to raise funds to prevent their demise. Unfortunately Sauber have not the funds this year to support them financially but rest assured our thoughts are with them steadfastly.
Yet again a transmission failure ruins our hopes of more points. We thought we could keep level with Ferrari but reliability has put paid to these hopes. We look forward to our 1994 car with which we hope to iron out our health problems.
On the subject of Arrows we wish the team the best of luck in their attempt to raise funds to prevent their demise. Unfortunately Sauber have not the funds this year to support them financially but rest assured our thoughts are with them steadfastly.
