Fondmetal:
The team is very happy that the deal with Frentzen finally worked. He showed pretty much talent in other series and as "Mercedes Junior" and Fondmetal is happy to give another young driver the chance of being a F1 driver. With 32 cars in qualification this will be hard, but it should still be possible. Due the team has a very low budget this could be a deciding season though...

Andrea Moda:
After some negotiations the team is grateful to have Moreno for another year in the squad. With his talent, experince and leading abilities the team is confident to have at least one car regularly upon the 26 fastests cars. Van de Poele has more skill than he was able to show last year and could also make it into the grid.

Newsflash - 1992 (Pre-Season)

--- Minardi ---
For 1992, the Italian squad will be powered by Mugen-Honda. With engines based on the model which made McLaren a championship contender last year, Minardi finally hopes to break through the magic 10-points-barrier. Pierluigi Martini will start his sixth year with Minardi and will get his 75th Grand Prix entry. Nicola Larini will join him after a decent year with Lambourghini which caugt Kay Lon's attention. An all Italian line-up with chances for success, that's going to be good.

--- Arrows ---
Footwork has been bought out by Kay Lon and renamed Arrows. While it hasn't been stated officially, many experts assume that this team is supposed to be a support team for Minardi. Driving with Ford engines used by Minardi with low success last year, newcomer Allan McNish and AGS main driver Éric Bernard will have to work hard for success. But rumors say that the Arrows A13 may be ultrareliable due to experimental parts which could help McNish and Bernard.

[V12-Power]

Benetton: After a strong season finish Benetton hopes to continue on a similar level in 1992. With Piquet and Schumacher they have a good mix of speed and experience. The team is also delighted that the strong relationship with Ford can be continued. The goal is to win some races this season.

Dallara: After a strong second half of the 1991 season, Dallara hopes to conserve this form. The team is happy to continue with JJ Lehto, who scored all 7 points for them last year. He'll be joined by Martin Brundle, who showed his great potential last season by taking four points for the backmarkers from Brabham. The Judd-Engine is one of the insider-tips on the engine sector once again, the team is expecting a very good performance from it.

Ferrari press conference
Enzo Ferrari did not want italian drivers on his cars. It would have been saddest for him to see them lose or being hurt. But in 1984 he personally chose Michele Alboreto, almost winning the '85 title. I'm sure that if he was here, he would have been happy with what has happened today. Ricky has been simply perfect today, he was there when Senna crashed, the right man at the right place. He deserved this win.
What about Alain? We are VERY happy that he's still with us. We're sure there will be plenty of opportunities to catch, and he'll be able to win again soon.

Lotus press conference
We are just keeping last year's results. We hope to be a little quicker and be able to finish the race with both drivers. We are glad at Michael starting 16th (his personal best, if I am correct), and staying with us. Alex is learning, no problem with his crash. But we have to improve, that's true.

Fondmetal:
A good season starter for the team! Frentzen had no problems to qualify and had a good race pace until his Suspension collapsed. The team still knows that it will be tough to qualify on a regular basis but today`s results where truly promising.

Andrea Moda:
The team is suprised by the great results and the quickness of the car. Moreno made a mistake today, so the team has god hopes to have both cars in the field next time allthough this still must be considered as very hard task. At the back of the pack things are very difficult and one single mistake causes an early homeflight.

Newsflash - 1992 (First Races)

--- Minardi ---
Kay Lon is very disappointed with the results of the Minardi. 3 DNQs and 0 points are on the Italian table for now. But supposedly, the drivers are not the ones blamed by the owner, who is extremely disappointed with the Mugen engines who has not kept the promises of performance. And together with the fact, that the price is quite high, which led to a lesser funding of the design itself, the Mugen Honda-Minardi relationship is currently at it's worst.

--- Arrows ---
Arrows failed to beat the demands of Pre-Qualifying in all races of this season so far. While not totally unexpected, it's still disappointing, especially for Bernard who looked for a race opportunity after his last year with AGS. But still, R&D is working hard to improve the A13 and make it more competitve.

Fondmetal:
3 DNFs in a row is not that good, but making a fast car reliable is easier than making a slow car fast. All in all the team is happy with that progress so far.

Andrea Moda:
van de Poele outperforming Moreno is a surprise but he just needs more time to feel more comfortable with the car. The team is very happy with the current peformance of Eric and hopes that he can keep his current shape and maybe score a lucky point. Last race it would have been eventually possible without that unlucky crash.
