Newsflash - 1991 (End Of Season)

1991 was a little disappointment for the Italian squad and Kay Lon, their owner. With the new investments, the team hoped for 10 points at least, but unfortunately, this hope was false. "Only" 2 points left the team on position 9 in the championship. For the next season, the squad hopes to retain Pierluigi Martini for 1992, putting a new team mate, preferably Italian, with him.

What has been rumored to happen has happened, AGS has filed for bancrupty. The french squad has not done enough to keep the funding of Kay Lon which was virtually the only thing allowing the team to survive. Kay Lon is now looking for a new team to invest into. Eric Bernard shall be a driver of this new team, what happens to Van De Poele will be revealed later...

and now, we have to wait for rremedio´s jordan - all the others have sent their stuff

but i hope to start the season tomorrow... if jordan isn´t there, they can step in later

Fondmetal:
This year could be a tough season for the team, due the budget is pretty short that year. Amati took Brabham and the team understands that decission and wishes her the best for the upcoming season. Fondmetal will compete once more with one car and is currently searching for a good driver.
The main goal is to qualify and finish as many races as possible.

Coloni -> Andrea Moda:
Due the bad resullts last year the sponsorship-money was very short and so the team accepted the Buy-In by Andrea Moda.
The driver`s lineup will be announced later, the goal is to make it on the grid as often as possible.

Lamborghini should stay and get their budget like the other teams, if they are not bankrupt (which I doubt ) they should be in again. They did well last year and deserve this chance

Mauricio Gugelmin "My 1991 Season was even disappointing. The whole year the Leyton House wasn´t good enough to score points. Now i am in a much better car and things will hopefully change."

Michele Alboreto "With all my Formula 1-Experience i can tell you, that this car definetly is a good one. I think, we will be able to score many points, maybe also some podium. I am happy to have the JS37 instead of the Crappy Footwork."
