Williams:
Had both cars not finished, Williams is very strained to race the next track. They just told they will do everything they can and will have two extra-tours with the testing-team to avoid failures like those happened in the race. The teamspeaker said, that they would not need to work on the speed of the car. He was referring to the qualy-result with both Williams in teh first row.

Tyrell:
With the podium of Nakajima the team do not to be fussed about the unfair action Herbert had with Letho. The won points are very neccecary for the team and the constructors championship.

Fondmetal:
Truly 2 difficult race weekends for the squad.
A very tight qualifying, a last place on the grid and an early retirement due a puncture in Valencia and a surprising NPQ in Suzuka did not really satisfy the team compared with the results in the second half of the season. Amati is still confident to make it on the grid in the last race and has orders NOT to hinder any one of title aspirants while being overlapped. Fondmetal doesn`t want to be a part of title decissions in such ways.
Instead the team lies their hopes into the next season`s car(s) and maybe also Amati. Brabham has showed interest on her and there has a decission to be made by her. Not an easy decission: On the one hand a team that is on the rise with a promising package for next season offering her the number 1 seat and on the on the other side there is a traditional team which scored 10 points so far this season, but her not being the number 1.

Coloni:
Chaves did a first training session in an INDYCAR Lola and felt really comfortable AND competitive. The rumors of him leaving the F1 circus are not commented at the moment due he wants to focus on his last chance this year for a F1 race.
Moreno is still confident to make it into the Qualifying round and maybe on the grid. He is still very frustrated of his dismission by Benetton and hopes for a competitive car again next year. He didn`t speak of leaving Coloni though.
Coloni itself moved the rumors of the buyout by the Andrea Moda Group into the land of tales, but the Andrea Moda group itself confirmed negotiations. Time will tell the truth.

Fondmetal:
The season ended like it started, with Amati out in the Pre-Qual. Still this was a good first season for the team with a T10 result and not a bad chassis. The goals of this year`s season where reached and the team is looking forward for the next season. Congratulations to Alesi and Williams.

Coloni:
30 DNPQs, 2 DNFs, well that can be considered another tough season for the team. The car simply was not good enough and at current state there can`t be anything said about next year.

Ligier:
The technical reliability was our main problem.
Grouillard was better than expected.
Johansson is the most disappointing driver of 1991.

Ferrari after-season press conference
This has been an up-and-down year for us. Not a brilliant start, but consistency. Then finally some brilliant result, but a drop of reliability.
Prost catched two victories, and we would like to congratulate and thank him. Our future situation is a little bit complex. It depends on his motivations... we hope he can focus on what he wants - that is winning. If this involves Ferrari, we'll be glad to continue with him. If his choice is not to be a Ferrari driver next year, then we wish him good luck for his career. But we like to remind everyone that we are Ferrari... since 1950 we're here, and we will until F1 itself dies. Losing for Ferrari could be frustrating, but winning... is a double joy. The Tifosi know how to thank their drivers.
Patrese has been wanted by me because he's fast, consistent and brave. Plus, he's italian. He's been good as expected during the year, and we hope he will be also for next year.

Lotus after-season press conference
After a crappy season, hearing that Hill wants to drive again with us next year, makes me happy. This hasn't been a totally negative year, then, if we have been able not to frustrate him... Lotus is a big family. It's a good team to work into. We always talk each other, and we have all the same goal: winning. We look forward to keeping improving the car as we were doing, since just bad luck kept us far from the 6th place.

Seeing as they actually got a point, I'd suggest keeping them for 1992.

Me too. Lamborghini is a great brand, even if we are talking about nineties.
