Fondmetal is looking forward for the next GP and might be able to qualify. Maybe they can surprise in the race if the car survives.

Coloni seems to have many work left to do and seems to be totally off the pace. To bring at least 1 car into the race is the major goal of the team.

Ferrari
The "red" guys are roughly one second behind the McLaren. That is maybe excessive for a team that lost world championship last year at the very last race (remember Suzuka?). I can figure Prost not exactly happy in not being wheel-to-wheel with its nemesis Senna.
I see Patrese in a good condition, just 0.101 behind the french teammate.
Will we be able to fight for championship?

Lotus
Announced today, the driver lineup and technical sheets will be released to the press as soon as possible.

On day 2 of testing, Ferrari driver Patrese doubled yesterday's time. Prost unusually behind, and slower than yesterday (1,7 secs... #-o ).
British joung talent Damon Hill makes his debut on the new Lotus - Ferrari, with an encouraging time. His 23-years-old German team-mate Bartels had to stay into the pits, due to some technical problems.

Okay Guys,

Simply can´t wait anymore :D

US Grand Prix at Phoenix on Friday!

The not chosen teams will managed by me in the most accurate/realistic way - they can still be chosen by players in the running season

If you wan to choose a second team , do it now!

Ligier will possibly will not be in Phoenix (depends on AAS)

12 Best Teams are Pre-Qualified (according to 1990 Constructors Championshp :

McLaren, Ferrari, Benetton, Williams, Tyrrell, Lotus, Leyton House, Larrousse, Brabham, Arrows, Ligier, Minardi

6 oher Teams have to make the Pre-Qualifying - Top 4 drivers reach qualification :
Fondmetal, AGS, Dallara, Coloni, Jordan, Lambo

Fondmetal is confident to have its car in the main qualifying-phase and hopefully be able to make it into the final 26. The main goal is to qualify and finish the race.

Coloni has still much work to do and making it through the pre-qualifying-phase would be more than they expect.

Mugello test session revealed nothing more than Imola's. Ferrari guys Prost and Patrese are a little nearer to McLaren, but not-so-near yet.
We look forward to arriving at the podium with Prost, and - why not - Patrese, if the red-white couple makes some mistake.
Lotus is struggling to emerge, and Bartels is quicker than Hill - that's a surprise. With the right mixture of luck and quickness, could aim for a single point.
Now, let's go to the States! =D>

Fondmetal had hard luck with that failure, but most likely it would have been very tight to make it into the main qualifying phase anyway. There is still some room for confidence for a better performance next race.

Coloni showed to be as weak as predicted and it should be real tough to get a more wealthy sponsor.

Newsticker - USA

--- AGS ---

The french squad was quite unhappy with the result in Dallas, as the tests seemed to allow more pace. Eric van de Poele had his first F1 outing and fared quite well, managed to meet the expections of joint Minardi-/AGS-boss Kay Lon. The mechanical problem of Eric Bernard was unfortunate, he was a favourite with regards to qualify for the race.

--- Minardi ---
The main squad of Kay Lon's F1 agenda had a more successful weekend, while Paolo Barilla was not on the pace and retired quite early with a transmission failure, Pierluigi Martini managed to excel on the street course and grabbed the point for 6th place. With this result, Minardi is looking forward to the Brazilian Grand Prix.
