CC performance differences between championship and non-championship weekend

I have a question regarding the CC performance in a championship and a non-championship weekend.

My 5th GP2 season started with fictional cars, teams etc. and on my first race i qualified and finished last place and i couldn't keep the pace to the CC drivers.

The Problem is: i tried a non-championship on the same track, same setup etc. and i could easily win from the last place, even in qualifying i had beaten every other driver by seconds.

It's a GP2Edit-Carset where everyone including me has the same engine power, grip, grip range etc.

On the last years saison, this strange behavior did not appear, the only thing i have changed this year was the skill level from "1994" to "all the same".

So i asked my self: what could be the problem?

Let me add that i play on a new PC, maybe i should reinstall ist? But i can't imagine this is the reason.

Hello, have you done both the Championship Season race and the Non-Championship race in "All The Same"?

Okay, that is the problem, i thought i saved this setting.

Now, the CC is on a Non-Championship also too fast for me. I could go on very low wings, but the grip is poor then...

It's quite interesting for me that the cc is seconds faster than me, even with the same power and grip in the carset.

maybe it has to do with the slot grip.. this parameter can be changed only in rremedios slot and tyre editor.. higher values mean better cc performances... i can not figure it what else could be the problem.. in the gp2 edit have you tick the selected team power option???

Yes, i have tried this but it was the same devastating result.

So, what is (technically) the difference between the 1994-skill option and the "All the same"? With 1994, i can beat the CC on Semi-As, but on "All the same" i am seconds slower on every lap. Every driver, including me, has in GP2Edit the same power, grip etc...

Hey FuchsiLP
I never use all the same but I found something what AD wrote in an earlier topic:
1: All The Same
All computer controlled cars will have the same performance values, completely disregarding any specifications in the carset.
2: Use GP2edit Values
All computer controlled cars will have the performance values specified in the carset.

So case 1 will explain why you are so much slower than the ai. What I don't know is what particular values the game uses with the "All the same" box marked.
