Gp2 Graphics

Post by spikerjack »

Hi!! I saw some of your screenshots and your ingame graphics seem much better than mine.. Which settings do you use dosbox with?
Do I have to install a specific program to gp2 to increase graphic quality?

Not much to do to increase graphics with dosbox (or if there is, please someone say it here: ), just that is with at least normal settings - maybe a screenshot how you see it would help. Do you have svga and other graphics options switched on in GP2 setup screen? Other than that, graphics depends on the track itself.

Make sure you are running at SVGA mode (inside GP2 graphic options).

There are a few DOSBOX options which can help you:

Note: Open dosbox configuration file and edit it in this way:

1. If you use Windows set output to "ddraw", for Linux use "opengl".
2. Be sure that machine is set to "svga_s3".
4. Increase memsize to 32.
5. Set scaler to "hq3x".

The rest can be tweaked at the in game options. :)
