I recently installed gp3 and gp3-2000 on Linux, both run nice in wine 10 in fact even better than my old windows system. Not 1 crash to desktop during actual gameplay.
So if anyone is using Linux or thinking about using it don't hesitate to get gp3 running because it runs really nicely and honestly its a pretty amazing Sim, in my opinion gp3-2000 is the best and most complete Sim in the entire series and one of if not the best racing Sim currently available (hot take I know)
Only thing to keep in mind is you might need to use software mode, it's not a big deal it just makes the graphics a bit more pixelated and more like a DOS game, its still pretty damn awesome if you ask me and the racing and AI are still better than any modern Sim so if you run Linux its definitely worthwhile to have it installed
