Re: The missing ones (1956-1959)
RacerBG are you still interested in this project? I think it would be an emotional moment when the entire history of F1 is represented right here on grandprix2.de. Geoff Crammond would certainly be proud.

Re: Graphics trouble
I've done some research and it appears that the settings set in the profile editor of DFEND will override anything you manually enter into your dosbox configuration file. If I send you my file it will be useless. Is there a particular reason you are using DFEND? From here you have 2 options, I can t...

Re: Graphics trouble
Not me. How could I do that? First I need to ask some questions. The first alarm bell I see is that you are using d-fend reloaded. I have never used this and run straight from dosbox, with a backup copy of the original GP2 CD to preserve the original menu music in the game. I can see from watching ...

Re: Dead?
All the kids are more interested in codemasters and seemingly wouldn't know a proper F1 game if it slapped them in the face. If we can't engage the youth in this game it will slowly rest in peace. I'm in my early teens and i love this game the amount of things you can edit is amazing and the physic...

Re: GP2 better than GP3 or GP4
I think it is the way their wheels spin. Especially when driving using the T-Cam, GP4 cars look and feel like they are as light as feather. I always drive in cockpit view and I feel the same thing too. I can never feel when the car is on the limit, in GP2 you can feel the grip threshold better. For...

Re: GP2 with no menu music
Pretty sure It only works with the cd. I play it in dosbox with the cd just for the music

Re: GP2 better than GP3 or GP4
I personally think GP2 is the best. It has an un describable quality and emotion to it. You can feel the passion and love that was put in the game. I never really spent much time on gp4 but while the AI and other aspects of it are great it just seems to be lacking something. I dont like the handling...

Re: Not enough memory when using GP2Lap and GP2Video
I have the answer, and hopefully it's not 4 years too late! In your dosbox conf file these should be a section [dosbox] memsize=16 Change that value, I have it on the maximum which is 63 however I previously had it working perfectly fine on 24, I just put it up to 63 recently as I'm forever tinkerin...

Re: GP2 Video Footage Project
Thanks for the advice, guys. I was hoping there was a simple way to fix the timing, irrespective of the processor occupancy. Since the game is still very popular, I assumed there was some sort of solution I didn't know about. It's funny how F1GP has no timing issues, despite it being a much older g...
