Re: New site
This is awesome. I like how simple the site looks. If you need people to donate to help pay for the site I would be glad to help. Anything to help gp2~!

Re: New tracks for GP2 - Antonio Pessoa
If I was good with CC lines I would just fix it myself, but I suck at AI lines in Gp2. Only Icr2 am I good at it. I am making long beach 1991 now. https://www.icr2.net/forum/showthread.php?tid=1491

Re: Carset Paint Problems
I build full carsets and tracks from scratch for ICR2. I also make cars and modify carsets for GP2. I use GIMP. It's available for windows and works great. You can work with pallets, and index them. It's like photoshop but open-source and much better!

Re: New tracks for GP2 - Antonio Pessoa
About Las Vegas F1 early-1980s, there is a version for GP2, made by Augusto Dewey and Malcolm Mitchell in the late-1990s. It's a good version, I think. Here is: http://grandprix2.de/Strecke2/USA/vegas11_ad.zip I tried that one... the CC line is really bad, especially in the fast corners near the en...

Re: New tracks for GP2 - Antonio Pessoa
you most certainly are a track making machine!
Any chance you could do some of the older tracks? Like F1 Las Vegas from the early 80s?

I was the one who commented on your cockpit... I'm shopping for a new cockpit and the main reason is since the plank-drag indicator does not show up enough. I like your rain simulation as well - seems like a neat idea but I'm not sure how hard it would be to implement. Thanks for the video and givin...

Re: New tracks for GP2 - Antonio Pessoa
There are so many original and older tracks that can be redone to better standards now that we have resources to do so- it would be great to see some of the originals remade more accurately if you ever get back into it

Re: Menu Helmet Template
I normally don't bother changing these... but I have a foggy memory of these being able to be auto generated in some way from the helmet designs themselves.... was this ever a thing?

Re: New tracks & carsets - Michael82
Thank you for your feedback! Currently I am working on some tracks in the same time... Montreal 1985, Paul Ricard 1985, Hockenheim 1986, Suzuka 1987-1990. I hope these woud be finished soon. I would love to use the Montreal, Paul Ricard and Hockenheim in my 1984 season. Myself I am working on Long ...

Re: TdK Gp2 Stuff (WIP and bits)
I would love to see some of the vanilla 90s and 80s tracks redone more accurately (like Michael has been doing) I spend my free time making tracks for icr2, and I have no clue how to make gp2 tracks. I would love to learn someday. Given the sheer quantity of gp2 tracks available it is probably easie...

Re: Returning after 28 years
I will do thank you. I have downloaded the magic editor but rather then me filling in random values is there somewhere i can download a an MD file that is already set up? You need to tweak them to your own liking... sending you my magic data values will only give you the same results as I have, wer...

Re: Returning after 28 years
Glad it's working.
I suggest you check out the RRemedio magic data editor. I wish we had that when we were kids. GP2lap makes the game much easier to switch tracks and set things up easier. Magic data editor also!

Re: Returning after 28 years
install dosbox ECE and start the game from the command line when you launch a dosbox window.
I simply click my dosbox icon and get a dos prompt.
I type "CD GP2" to change directory into my gp2 folder (where gp2lap and gp2.exe are kept)
Then I type "GP2LAP" and it starts the game by starting gp2lap.
