What happens in GP2 when you race with rear-wing "1" and front-wing "too much" and try to get out of the slipstream at the last minute:

Re: teach me about packers
Thank you!
I've been having trouble with Estoril. I needed lower ride height but it was being problematic.
I'll follow your suggestion and hopefully have more success than Gasly checking Verstappen's data.

Re: Some links for download GP2 tracks are broken
I could suggest that some "new" tracks at the "older news" link (http://grandprix2.de/oldnews.htm) are not included in the tracklist, namely Porto (Portugal) and Parco Valentino (Italy). Regards

Re: "snap oversteer" on corners that have height transitions
Agreed. I noted that same problem at the same track (I'm using the a1ring98_js version by Jason Sinnbeck). Actually, I also noted it at the final chicane of Spa, 2015 version by Roberto Remédio (spa_2015_rremedio_beta). As I'm planning to do a season with both these tracks, I'll try to work on the r...

Re: 2019 carsets
Hello, In this link https://ufile.io/v85ntzog there's a zip with two carset files and a txt with an explanation. (Same service used by roland and gagarin before). 2019gripedit is a suggestion for grip to use. 2019gripeditcareergame is an extra file, based on the first one, with a suggestion for a 1s...

Re: 2019 carsets
Good idea. I'll give it a try, meanwhile. I like to play with Selected Team Power on so I'll try to reproduce the season so far, but giving some disadvantage to Ferrari regarding horsepower. I think the main issue of Ferrari this season is tyre management, rather than horsepower, but we can't reprod...

Re: 2019 carsets
Hello all, Regarding the carsets, I'd like to make a suggestion: the benchmark grip should be 16384, like the original carset of game. This way I think we could approximately simulate the driving levels against the original game. In the 2019 varset, for instance, Lewis Hamilton would be 16384 and Va...

Hockenheim 2012
Hello,
When I click to download the Hockenheim 2012 track (http://grandprix2.de/Strecke2/tracks_Germany.htm), it appears me the attached image. What might be causing this?

Re: GP2 modding to a newbie
After installing GP2 Edit I've loaded the 1989 mod and been trying to create a new helmet design, but without success. If I edit the '1989helmets_nt12' file in Photoshop, when I try to load it into GP2 Edit, it just brings up the error message 'Couldn't load Bitmap'. Alternatively, if I edit the bm...

Re: GP2 modding to a newbie
Hello, welcome and good luck for your 1989 season! Although I talk a lot here, I'm a kind of a newbie so I might be forgetting files and tutorials. I don't think there is a guide, but you can start with this http://grandprix2.de/Carsets/csF1/csf11980.htm and this http://grandprix2.de/Util/util.htm. ...

Re: Suzuka overtaking: GP2 and reality
There are no stewards in GP2, fortunately. I wonder if GP2 doesn't end up being more "real" than reality.

Re: teach me about packers
Hello, I don't have an answer. I'm replying because I'm also passionate about the set-up, especially for races (50% Race Distance) and eventually I'll get to packers too. When I played as a teenager I did not explore correctly all the potential of the Advanced Setup, especially dampers, anti-roll ba...
