Re: How to improve modern F1: Pre-Quali
One main problem, mostly for small teams $$$$$$$ They would need more mechanics a third track engineer and more costly car logistics etc etc. I think years ago some team run three cars but was in another time, another F1 era.

Re: GP2RW pool
Sounds cool but I don't think I would know how to play. Look forward to following the activities on here regardless. FORZA GP2 Well, we don´t drive. It´s a CC championship, where you have to manage the engine power of your team giving "power points". See http://grandprix2.de/gp2forum/viewtopic.php?...

GP2 link and videos
I came across this youtube user that also maintains a private league web site. He has many videos of GP2 driving and fictional F1 and CART races.

Maybe a fellow member of this site?

Re: GP2RW pool
Ok guys let´s get this going. Roberto, can you send me the new user team? So by now we´ll have 4 "human" teams, the rest will be covered by cc´s with the 2015 liveries, last available for gp2 with 2017 Driver names. Rules will be published this week but will be not much different from previous GP2RW...

Change F7 key
Hi guys: Preliminary note: I´m not using DosBox, I know that DosBox can change key maps for games. I use an old PC, GP3 and GP2 dedicated which is better IMO. So I Was wandering if F7 TC key can be assigned to some other key for activate/deactivate while driving. In GP2 the help keys and c...

Re: performance differences between circuits for the player
What level are you using? If you wanna race ace level all the same with a chance to win races, you must use no traction control (F7) and a decent setup with long low gears ratios. Is the only way, I think. Get used to drive without TC.

Re: GP2RW pool
Yeah, choose your grip points before each race, something along the previous league. At least one pitstop is mandatory, but guess more than one will be required in a long race with D compound... should be better to let the computer to decide the pitstops? On personalized setups, the idea is out by n...

Re: GP2RW pool
Thxs for the input, Roberto, this league will be based in grip values. So the proceeding should be setup the basics in GP2Edit (names, cars, power, BMP´s etc) and use Roberto´s tyres and grip editor for grips and tyres for each track. I´m thinking of one pitstop and compulsory use of tyre D compound...

Re: GP2RW pool
Roberto: Can you put here a link for downloading the saved game excel sheet? There was a link somewhere in an old thread but is dead. We could use personal setups for each car, instead of new grip values for each new race or both... But remember that wings and gear ratios are the only values that ca...

Re: GP2RW pool
My team: McPherson Chassis: MP-1 Engines: Alpha V10 Drivers: Carlos Sanchez (Brazil) and Jean-Paul Cassell (France) I'm supposed to upload a bitmap of the car, right? But I think you will guess, I'm not being original at all ;-) Yes, upload a bitmap for your cars. Nice team with two old drivers fro...

Re: GP2RW pool
A question: the set-up we apply to a car will influence with its performance, when CC-controled? Or not? I'm asking both for this league (where I can be interested) and for 2-player in the same machine, when the computer is controlling a car? The CC´s performance is given by grip values assigned by...
