Re: (off topic) Check out my Ayrton Senna Mclaren Bedroom Paintjob
Well, congrats for that! Seems quite cool. The mere fact that you can distinguish red and fluorescent orange means you have good knowledge about paints and painting, I wouldn't reach that level  I knew that the Brazilian helmet painter with whom Senna worked instructed him to carry a fluorescen...

Original Hungaroring - racing and setups
This was being discussed in the "2019 Track Updates" thread but as I wanted to further reply to RRemedio, I thought it would too much of a subject change, so I'm creating a new thread. This is about driving and setting up a car for the Original GP2 Hungaroring. I had already tried the Hungaroring 20...

São Paulo Grand Prix
Later I made a fictional season with two races in Brazil. In order not to get anyone offended, the Interlagos race was called "São Paulo Grand Prix" and the Jacarepaguá race was called "Rio de Janeiro Grand Prix". I did not think that this would turn partially real so fast. If Mr Bolsonaro, Mr Witz...

Re: 2019 Track Updates
I had already tried the Hungaroring 2003 version and, ofc, this one matches what you indicated in the txt. I know you don't like it very much but it was worth it. I'm more than fine with current graphics. I could never cope with the Original GP2 Hungaroring. I could lower the ride heights, but the u...

Re: 2019 Track Updates
Got it, thanks. And yes, now there is no more that "bump" after Turn 3 (they call it Turn 3 now)! Final corner seemed also really cool to go on the limit, while being careful on the kerb. I tested it in slot 7. The pit in/out distances work. 9 is the slot it will have in the package, but with custom...

Re: 2019 Track Updates
Thanks! No suggestion of a preferred slot, is really "as you want"? Did you tested it in slot 9?

Re: 2019 Track Updates
Hi RRemedio, glad to hear from you. That's all good news. I'd be all in favor of the "maybe I will do that for the tracks that are already finished and release it" option. I look really forward for your Mexico City and Suzuka new versions. Regarding Interlagos, maybe you could consider releasing a v...

Sakhir Outer Track-like
Hello all,
In your opinion, and regarding the 400 and counting tracks in GP2 website and forum, which is the most similar to Bahrain Outer Track? 3,5 km, straights, a couple of corners?
Thruxton? Vallelunga? Some fictional that I'm not remembering?
Maybe Silverstone 1987-90...
Thanks

Re: A Reddit.
Back in 2014, when I suddenly asked myself what could I found about Grand Prix 2 online, it didn't take long to find this forum. I suppose, even cleaning cookies, it still appears in the Google first page for a random search for Grand Prix 2. I suppose it would be good to gather more people interest...

Perez DNF in GP2 style
Amazingly Romain Grosjean is fine, thanks to the Halo and all the safety standards introduced in car building since 1994. Apart of the Grosjean mayhem, Bahrain's race brought something that GP2 players surely cherished: an engine failure in Grand Prix 2 style. It's quite unusual to have smoking engi...

Re: Ultimate Helmets Pack
Hello and welcome to the forum!
Many thanks! Personally, I have to say that this seems really useful. I sometimes pick random helmets based on colours and, with this, the database to pick from is huge. But at the same it allows us to pick real life helmet examples as we wish.
Cheers!

Re: Fictional 2021 carset
By the way, I like that you used the old Sauber livery for them. Thanks. Petronas wouldn't make sense in a today's Red Bull third team, but the Red Bull sponsoring was prominent and the car was blue-ish, so it made sense. That car got a podium with Johny Herbert :D 40 cars is not that unrealistic i...

Re: Fictional 2021 carset
And by the way, the ROT STIER thing was awesome. :D Thanks. Honestly, I think Red Bull having a "C team" or third team is way more conceivable or reasonable than Alonso setting up a team of Stefan Grand Prix coming for real  This guy from "bandeira verde" (green flag) blog is awesome Incredibl...
