Re: F1 season 2011
What I find positive as an early signal is that the deployment of the moveable rear wing should be well visible from the outside, so at least one can see where that might play a role in overtaking attempts without yet another symbol in the graphical overlay for the television broadcast.

Re: Grip for each car?
I think, unfortunately, this is not simulated in a way that it would make sense -- or it's just inaccessible with conventional editing through the kinds of tools we have. Interesting to see that in GP4, it still seems to work pretty much the same way, with a track grip factor defined in the individu...

Re: F1 season 2011
There seem to be quite a few motivations for these critiques and compliments of other drivers, really. First of all, you could really think this one guy is the best, because you've taken a good look at yourself and decided that, comparatively, you don't reach up to him. Yeah, right. O:) Then again, ...

Re: Team Bulgaria 2011 first look.
I'd personally try and use some more of the red and green colors as surfaces, as large areas of white as a base color is so often used with many race cars, but that's purely subjective on my point, obviously. The idea of creating kind of a nation car, I think, is great. Reminds me of this racing ser...

Some really cool and rather professional-looking designs in our new set, I'm impressed.

Re: help regarding 2004 jordan livery
First of all, welcome to this place. :) Going through race pictures, I didn't see this being ran at any race event in 2004. The logo, in white on black, showed up on the car's sidepods, however, in post-season testing, specifically when Robert Dornboos tested for Jordan at Jerez in early December 20...

Re: That tree over there aka Merry Christmas
Happy new year everyone. I hope we can all somehow pursue and enjoy it -- oh, and I hear there's this stuff called motor racing that's supposed to be interesting. I guess I'll be checking out some of that in the new year.

That tree over there aka Merry Christmas
The roads look interesting, but I don't have that championship-material WRC at hand, so I guess it's walking into the city tonight. Before I start that, I want to swing by here and wish everyone on board a pleasant evening and a few slow, hopefully happy days in whichever style, fashion or faith you...

Re: Lotus and Lotus
I was interested to see that name brought back to the sport, but I, too, find this a bit confusing... Personally, I would have rather wanted to try and build a new identity for a new team, instead of tapping into someone else's legacy. Still, there would be enough flower names to have a "tip of the ...

Re: Shall we make a GP2 Fans Carset 2010
That's the idea, yes. There's still time to come up with something, if you want, too. There's usually no strictly fixed "due date" for this, but as Mäxx said, it would make sense to have all contributions collected before 2010 comes to a close. I'm still working on my contribution... as well as ano...

Re: How do you drive
Traction control and a lot more downforce at the front than at the back for me, which is the way I try to set up in most of the games I play, because it usually fits with what driving style I've developed for simulations over the years.

Not anymore, fortunately, Fuji stepped back from that as announced in July last year. So it's Suzuka only for the time being, that is until their contract would run out.jakesanson wrote:As far as I can see, the only real classic that hasnt been changed or messed up in any way is Suzuka, and now it shares with Fuji.
