Like I said, don't use dosbox to run it. Use the Windows command prompt (right-click the Start menu button, then click Command Prompt).

Re: Can't get the FW14 cockpit working
I've made a small video. Put the files from lcdtool 1.04 and fw14bytes.txt on your gp2 folder (mine is F:/GP2)

Re: Can't get the FW14 cockpit working
Thanks man but I need directions on how to do it using DosBox i reckon as isnt that how others have done it? No, use the command prompt from windows. I got version 1.04 from the cockpit download page and got it working. Unfortunately, importing to GP2Edit won't be useful because lcdtool patches som...

Re: Can't get the FW14 cockpit working
LCDTool works. But you need to run it through the command prompt. Anyway, I only have version 1.05 and this cockpit seems to use 1.04 format which is probably different and makes the fw14bytes useless for me (if I patch it, it breaks the game, but if I patch a file generated by 1.05, it doesn't brea...

Re: Playability and realism of GP2 compared with today's games
so how is the track development work is very tiring, laborious? For beginners, it can be very hard. And even for experienced track builders, depending on the track it can be very long. A few parts are indeed very boring but that's usually not a problem. For me, it has been impossible to do anything...

Re: Playability and realism of GP2 compared with today's games
What tools do you need to create a GRAND PRIX 2 track ??? The Track Editor is the main one. You can create a new track by using only it. But to create a quality track you will also need the Jam Editor, the Object Editor is not required but it is much easier to use to create custom objects than doin...

Re: 2019 Track Updates
Not ready yet. There are many graphical updates still and a tricky fix to the pit exit to be made. What kind of pitlane bug are you getting with other versions? In the pitlane entry man And SPA FRANCORCHAMPS 2015 and SPA FRANCORCHAMPS 2019 bugs entry pitlane You just need to change the slots or use...

Re: 2020 BTCC mod
Probably blocked from the available aids. You can change that in GP2Edit -> Game Settings. Just import, change it and export again. If that's not the case, make sure you are on a difficulty level that allows the use of F1.

Re: 1939 GP Season Mod
What I mean is, how I can make the game detect to which car should be assigned each carshape? And thanks! \:D/ In GP2Edit: low nose is carshape 1, high nose carshape 2. I can't test it now, but I'm very happy you made a 1939 set. The real, almost forgotten heroes! (who were also lunatics, bless the...

Re: 2020 BTCC mod
Nice! Thank you for making this!
I really love the BTCC. I never used the previous sets too much in GP2 (mostly because GP2 doesn't really simulate touring cars very well) but I usually do a few races when a new carset arrives and I'm surely going to give this one a try.

Re: Full Replay
Im confused, when you say I need to 'GP2.exe with GP2Video' how exactly do I do that?.... You open dosbox and run GP2Video (not GP2Lap). It will create a copy of your GP2.exe called GP2v.exe and it will patch it. GP2v.exe is the one you should rename to GP2.exe so you can play the game and have the...

Re: GP3 2000 on Windows 10
I think it should work in software mode (it works very badly in hardware mode in Win 10). This thread has a lot of info on it -> https://www.grandprixgames.org/read.php?1,1097753 What better works for me is DxWnd instead of dgvoodoosetup. But I guess it will depend on your system. If you are using a...

Re: Playability and realism of GP2 compared with today's games
[/img][/img] What tools do you need to create a Formula 1 tire? You need a graphics program to make the textures and then you need to build the jam files with them. If the textures have the same layout and size as the original ones, you can do it with GP2Edit. Otherwise, you're gonna need the Jam E...

Re: Grand Prix 2 is playable on Android!
Nice indeed! Thank you!
The last time I tried it didn't work too well because of my crappy phone (and maybe because of using the wrong emulator). Now I have a less crappy phone (still not great tho), so I'm gonna try it again eventually.
