Re: What is possible to have in GP2?
– GP2 has already code for clutch. Now I'm more sceptical, but hopefully we could found a way to make GP2 to require clutch to be pressed on each manual gearshift. *) This thought continues from my previous thought. This feature, I meant, would be only needed to be used with legacy season mods (bef...

Driving career - Alfonso de Vinuesa - S4- 1991
I'm doing a Grand Prix 2 career spanning from the end of the 80's until the mid 90's; incarnating Alfonso de Vinuesa; unlucky Spanish driver that suffered a big accident in F3000 in 1987 and never recovered properly after. Trying to be very accurate regarding how each car performs. For the 1988 seas...

Alfonso de Vinuesa helmet
In-game helmet for the 80's spanish driver. Couldn't find it anywhere so I made it myself.

Re: Simtek Challenge
Hi Maltese Falcon! Thank you very much for your setup sharing. I made a brief test with it and, in fact, it works. It will end up helping me understand a lot more the setups in GP2. I remember RRemedio saying around here once that the setups in GP2 were far from perfect compared with later games an...

Re: Better wet racing in GP2
I don't know how well the smoke animation would work.. You'd need to get rid of the fire, and it would be kind of silly looking with all of the cars doing this. As far as I know, the water leak animation does not have fire (or at least I have never seen it); the engine failure animation has fire.

Better wet racing in GP2
Hi there; I'm trying to get to do better wet racing in GP2. Gp2wet is a good start, but I was wondering if it's somehow possible to "force" the game to show for every car the water leak failure smoke, continously, to simulate some kind of spray effect. Alternatively, or in addition to this, what gri...

Trouble running Gp2 in recently acquired computer
Hi there :) I just got this computer for cheap; 2.8Ghz Celeron with 2Gb RAM which is capable of running Win7. I'm trying to get Gp2 to work (using Gp2lap) but I'm hitting problems; If I run it through DosBox the thing is sloooooooooooow in any setting I've tried; and if I run it directly it cannot f...

Re: Slots and Tyres Editor 4.21 beta
A couple of Quick Questions: 1) How does changing the max. revs affect gear ratios? I mean, if I'm on 900 bhp engines, and if I put up the revs to 18000, should I up, down or not touch the gear ratios? 2) How do you change the tyre type assignment for a track? Do you think it'll be possible in the f...

Re: Slots and Tyres Editor 4.21 beta
Wow, thanks a lot!
I'd like to ask for a readme feature, which is to indicate some guide values for each of the parts of the editor, so as not to edit something completely in the dark and save users from lots of trial & error time
