Re: did anyone ever make JEREZ without senna Chicane (1992-1993 design?)
As I far as I know, there isn't such version. I think "Motracoon , The Moon" is Jerez-based and maybe the layout is slightly changed, but maybe that's not what you're looking for... :-k Thank you for your reply, but I was looking for an authentic remake. I'm surprised no one did this configuration ...

did anyone ever make JEREZ without senna Chicane (1992-1993 design?)
I found in the tracks-download section there are 2 Jerez 1997 versions available to download, also an 80's Jerez with the original configuration. I did not see a 1992-1993 configuration before the ayrton senna chicane was added... Did anyone make this? Here is the configuration I am talking about......

Re: Race data
As far as I know GP2LAP is the closest thing that will give you more, but I don't think it will give you exactly what you are after.

Re: Technical failures in original carset
I race all my races at 100% length, ever since back in 1996 when the game came out I have always done it that way. I try and keep more of the cars on the track (so there are more opponents). I think I have all of the cars set at 4000 value for reliability in gp2edit. Some cars fall out, but not too ...

Re: A new track ?
since my computer is fast, I can run tracks like the original monaco in dosbox with around 30-50% processor occupancy...
has anyone taken the original monaco and just added graphics to make the scenery more busy? I would like the original tracks revamped with more trackside objects

Re: New tracks for GP2 - Antonio Pessoa
Unrelated guys, but I am actually building circuits for indycar racing 2 now. I'm not sure but I think it is much harder to make a track for icr2 than it is for gp2 because there are so many more scratch-made gp2 tracks then icr2..

Re: Best tools for creating cars
I found there is a very useful graphic editor called USENTI that is very helpful for using 8bit bitmaps and images in games such as grand prix 2. I also use this in modifying graphics for indycar racing 2.

Re: Problem with Gp2 tracks
please post a picture of what you are trying to describe....
my guess is that you don't have the JAMS in the proper place for the tracks that you are trying to use.

Re: Any tricks to power up dosbox/GP2?
I am lucky. I am able to run dosbox ece (which is 32 bit) and I can get full framerate with all details, bells and whistles. I built my pc in 2013 and went with an i7 processor high end video card and 32 gb of ram

Re: Grip: two issues
Ismael- I feel kind of dumb asking this, but if I wanted to have the same horsepower for all the cars, and just change the drivers so some are faster/slower than others- can't I just use the grip values? If I give everyone the same "range" of grip values, it will give everyone equal "difference" in ...

Re: Any tricks to power up dosbox/GP2?
It looks like you have the cpu speed and cycles set up correctly, so unfortunately I don't think there is anything we can modify to make it perform any faster
I know this is not what you wanted to hear

I would love an answer to this and maybe an explanation of why you use the settings you do.
