Re: GP2 link and videos
So, so nice! I also did recently a 50% Race Distance here, but with an exaggerated horsepower (and refuel). How many horsepower did the MOD grant to the Renault engine of your Williams?

Re: Going to box
Good point from DaSilva82. Q may be useful during qualifying, but in the race, of course, you'll have to drive to the pits in the proper manner. In the race, the "Pit In" signal will light up automatically, according to your pit stop strategy, at the beginning of the lap you're supposed to pit. Howe...

Hello Boombox, just to greet you and assure that, although the forum is a little quiet, some of us are still around. Unfortunately, I can't help you regarding those templates, but let's wait - eventually, someone will arrive.

Re: Going to box
Hello and welcome back! I did the exact same thing a couple of years ago - playing after very long time away.
I think you mean hitting Q. Just hit Q and you'll be back to the box.

Re: There's a new Rookie online
Shimanaev already finished his third Grand Prix! I think it's now time for him to consider work on his set-up.

Re: There's a new Rookie online
Well, that's impressive! I opted for doing the whole first season on Rookie and only move up to Amateur after winning at Rookie. I think there was an upside or racing at Rookie with auto-brakes. As the auto-brakes are terribly ineficient, you are forced to work and learn to work with set-up, in orde...

Good luck for Dmitriy Shimanaev for his career that it's just starting. Way better than my first race.

CC-car Pit Stop strategy in Magny-Cours
Hello everyone, In the original game, while playing in Magny-Cours with 50% Race Distance (36 laps), CC-cars doing one-stop apparently will do it in lap 23 instead of lap 18, hence making the 1st stint longer than the second. (I don't remember this happening before.) Did anyone notice this? Is there...

CC-car defending move
Hello and Happy New Year to everyone. I'd like to introduce something that looked like a novelty in GP2 to me. A few days ago I started some race in Barcelona and, after a poor start from pole and way before the first corner, I was right behind Schumacher (leading) and approaching his slip-stream (h...

Re: Fictional Formula 4 carset
With more than 300 hundred tracks (right?) and endless editing possibilities, the kid will have to consider that GP2 is THE racing game... By the way, with 200 horsepower it happens what is well known to Roberto Remedio: "If we use low powered cars, the human player will have a big advantage at race...

Fictional Formula 4 carset
Hello everyone, No new tracks, cars or others actual materials like the cool carsets that Minardi is placing here lately. I'm just sharing news of a development I've been doing thanks to this forum. As my 7-year old was having trouble with Grand Prix 2 at Rookie level, I created a Formula 4 carset f...
