...remembering about Nannini's crash, I think that if the doc decide to amputate his hand he will never drive in F1 at all.

Go, Robert!
Hi folks, it's a very sad evening here... Robert Kubica suffered today a very hard crash at Ronde di Andora (Italy) Rally. Italian Police is now investigating on accident dynamics, but Jacub Gerber - his coequiper, unharmed by the accident - said that this morning, at 8.30 AM, they were driving a Sk...

Re: GP2 using Dosbox on Mac OS X 10.5
I use a workaround for running Gp2 on my MacOs 10.6 First of all a Win XP virtual machine on VmWare to do all the editing stuff. When I end editing, I copy all the "Gp2" folder into DosBox, in Macintosh real machine. I suggest using Boxer as a frontend, you have to leave aside some quality in order ...

Re: Setups for old tracks?
I usually look into trackeditor to understand cc's car setups. Then I build up an easy-but-fun setup: lower rear wing to zero, decrease ride height by 10 or 15 mm, and adjust gears in order to obtain top speed with FOURTH gear (in 1950's race cars only had 4 gears, the fifth one I think came un on 1...

Re: Tutorial: How to Play GP2 in DOSBox 0.73 with better speed
Hi guys! I've tried different things but I've come out with a not-fully-satisfactory solution. I own a Mac Book Pro, so my chance to play with Gp2 is through emulators/virtualizators. At first I tried Parallels Desktop to virtualize a Win 98 machine. Gp2 ran at native speed, full detail, 25,4 fps. T...

Re: GP of Monaco
As I said, Massa did not receive any penalty since he did not take any big (nor small) advantage on others runners by putting a wheel on the yellow line. The problem is that this rule is not really a strict rule. As long as it will be "interpreted" by stewards, it will end up with this kind of thing...

Re: GP of Monaco
I agree with you, Greyhead. On F1 Italian commentary it has been always pointed out that a driver cannot overtake until the start/finish line, after the SC pulls out, so that's why I was pretty sure that this rule must have been written somewhere, and I was pretty worried about everyone forgetting i...

Re: GP of Monaco
The light flashing green means that the track is clear, not that you are allowed to overtake... 2010 sporting regulations, rule 40.11 - As the safety car is approaching the pit entry the yellow flags and SC boards will be withdrawn and replaced by waved green flags with green lights at the Line. The...

Re: F1 2010
The technical regulations are the same of 2009, except for fuel related issues. As far as I remember, it is forbidden to have any aerodynamic component in front of the rear wheels (i.e. attached to the back of the sidepods), and nothing has been said for the space in front of the sidepods, but maybe...

Re: F1 2010
The best for me is the Renault one... quite shocking at first, but very recognizeable. Very elegant the McLaren one, whereas is a little bit... anonymous the Mercedes GP one. I do not bother to comment the Ferrari livery at all...
