Re: lapped ai cars

And one last thing from me: If for any reason you are feeling always slower than your opponents - cheat a little. Go to GP2 Edit, make them with 50-100 kg heavier than you and enjoy! 8)

Re: gp2 track import/export

http://grandprix2.de/Anleitung/help.htm - This might help you, search there. Also read the readme files included with every track. Apply GP2Limit too and you are ready to go. ;)

Re: lapped ai cars

1) Just overtake them.
2) Yes.

By the way what system specs you have? If you are lucky enough you could install Windows 98SE and have a real retro gamer PC. :)

Re: Track menu problems

From my personal experience I would suggest you to run only one. It's good decision but it's very time consuming. I had tried to make my own forum championship but I stopped it around 5 or 6 races later. And I had developed 41 fantasy seasons ready season by season...

Re: Hello! A few questions: change color of cars? multiplaye

If you're referring to 'MS Paint' in windows then I'll certainly give it a try. What do you mean by 'correct color palette' ? Do I need to separately save the palette of each car 256 bitmap image before I can change the color? Am I restricted to using only the colors on that palette or can I change...

Re: gp2 programs do not work with windows 8.1

GP2 Edit is not a DOS program. Try run it as a normal Windows problem. I know that Windows 8 is worse than 7 in terms of old programs support but I think that it should work.

Re: Gp2 Graphics

There are a few DOSBOX options which can help you: Note: Open dosbox configuration file and edit it in this way: 1. If you use Windows set output to "ddraw", for Linux use "opengl". 2. Be sure that machine is set to "svga_s3". 4. Increase memsize to 32. 5. Set scaler to "hq3x". The rest can be tweak...

Re: What would work....?

If you want to use it for retro games I could use on it Windows 98 SE. Then GP2 for sure will run better and every other DOS/ Windows 9x games. :) You can grab Windows 98 for free from somewhere, you know that no one sell it nowadays.

Re: The missing ones (1956-1959)

I was planning to move finally into Linux these days but looks like I have work to do first. :) Except if I find good program for editing 256 color bitmaps.
