Re: D-Fend is better of CSM?
I use D-FEND reloaded as DOSBOX-Frontend and I knew that it could also run non-Dos-Programs. I use a virtual WinXP machine for Windows games of that era, but maybe I will give it a try. I like CSM pretty much for the ability to patch right before the race so you can have somehow realistic sets, but ...

Re: GP2 link and videos
A very nice suprise to see that people are still taking efforts for this game.
@samsepi0l: Yes, I think you are right. Seems like italian to me, but I am also no expert in that language

Re: A new track ?
Hi all! Today I post a new track for my 1984 mod. It is Monza the most famous high speed track. Don't forget to use GP2limit for that. Enjoy! I love this version of Monza, awesome :D That`s truly a layout for a temple of speed, must have been awesome to sit at the 2nd Lesmo on the grandstands. But ...

Re: Problem with Gp2 tracks
Hi Pietro, welcome to the board, it is always nice to see new people joining the still alive GP2-Community :D Many circuits state in the readme (or GP2form.txt) what folders you need to create for the jams. If you are unsure you can always have a look at the circuit.DAT via trackeditor by Paul Hoad ...

Re: f1 spa 2021
Yes, this was a difficult one :-k I suppose they will consider that in the rules for the future. It happens not that often, but sometimes it is just impossible to race. I suppose it would be best to say "no waiting, we go home, qual result = race result, half points, race tickets refunded" and adapt...

Re: TdK Gp2 Stuff (WIP and bits)
Looking forward for the set
First corner was not that close today and the race pretty tactical, but good to have some great classic tracks back in the calendar The banked corner must be a great feeling to drive

Re: Two Super Monaco short videos
Thanks for sharing, I like the SMGP and F1GP driver combo
I also had the issue with the driver pics and the gp2-palette which lead to the "dotty" backgrounds. Maybe my cleaned version is somewhat usefull.

Re: 2021 carset???????
Yap, waiting for it as well, but you can use an altered 2020 carset and adapt performances yourself until it`s out. I used to do it that way, but not this year tbh. I am pretty excited with my personal season just using the tracks I love most and fictional carset. So I can live with the waiting time...

Re: Can't catch up to the AI at the race, but can qualify on pole
Seconded, quali and race-setup might have a huge impact. Similar to todays point of view (quali and race are two different racing leagues) GP2 also simulated that very good. A car on low fuel and totally fresh tires behaves differently than in the race. It is also possible to use a setup for both oc...

Re: Two Super Monaco short videos
Very nice, Super Monaco GP and F1GP or GP2 are just a perfect match :) It would be awesome to have more than 14 teams for that purpose :D Which carset did you use/adapt? The paint job of the cars is very well done. Did you stick with original Line-Ups or did you change it for a better fit? Else the ...

Re: Grip: two issues
Wow! That's very nice! So this confirms it works like in the later games where the RG is a range that goes both ways. I'm a little surprised tho since I've never found actual grip values that were higher than the driver's grip when supervising the memory during the races. That value is probably sto...
