Re: strange - "100" brake markers just dissapeared after practice?
today I confirmed sometimes they come and go during the weekend sessions. One session they may be there, and the next gone, next back, and so on. It is seeminly random if they will appear or not. Very strange.

strange - "100" brake markers just dissapeared after practice?
I don't know about you guys, but every time I try and learn a new track that I've never driven on before I'm really sloppy for a few hours until I learn the track. Braking markers and finding my racing line are imperative so I can get a good 'flow' around. Today I was trying to learn the 1978 dijon ...

Re: need help setting number of laps in a race
I can't really tell for sure and I couldn't reproduce the problem with that version of the track. You know what, you won't believe it.... I re-loaded the track, went into gp2 with gp2lap and the problem was gone. 61 laps right like I changed it. Strange. Either I am getting old and foolish or this ...

Re: need help setting number of laps in a race
I'm having some problems. Here is the track in notepad: https://i.imgur.com/ypdOa99.png Here is the track in the hex editor. https://i.imgur.com/Y0pS8Fn.png I'm not sure which addresses to change to EF. It looks like the number of laps is set to 61 (which is what i want), however when search for ano...

Re: need help setting number of laps in a race
There is a common bug in the track editor that makes it save the GP2INFO section twice. Then when it try to change it saves correctly but the "extra" section is not deleted and it creates confusion for GP2Lap. It is easy to check by opening the .dat file in Notepad. You will see some repeated info....

need help setting number of laps in a race
I am trying to correct the number of laps in the old RIO track i downloaded. In real life, they raced 61 laps here. I have found that this track works best in slot-5 (which is the original spain). I use GP2LAP so normally GP2 sets the number of laps correctly when i place a fan-made track into a slo...

Re: Menuhelmet template?
I tried to use GIMP described in the process above for GP2, and the colors worked right but for some reason when I load the finished BMP into gp2edit it cuts up the positioning of the file wrong and it puts the parts of the car in the wrong locations... strange. What I do is finish my work in GIMP, ...

Re: Menuhelmet template?
BTW, so, that mean, that I can design in GIMP? 'cause doing everything in an outdated MS Paint is extremely hard... In my experience, GIMP won't generate files with the correct palette. So I design in GIMP, then copy the final image and paste it over a GP2 bmp with the old MS Paint. I suppose you c...

FYI all - you can save your modified magic data as a file, and upload it wherever you want- or save it for later use if you need to go back and forth between original and home-made tracks.

Re: Fictional Zeltweg 2020
So from a "track shape" point of view this is the same track as F1 drove in the 1986 Austria GP?
I always get confused with the different names for the tracks in Austria.
