Re: 2009 presentations
I like the car, but the rear wing makes it look like a F3.

Re: Magic Data Editor
There're still 9 unknowns. If someone wants to help, here goes some info... Unknown 5 It affects the cc behavior when the race starts or when he leaves the pits. If you put a high value, the ccs may miss some corners in the first lap. The values for all slots are 1024, 1280, 1536 or 2048 (4*256, 5*2...

Re: An interesting challenge for GP2 editors.......
I won't do.
Maybe someone else help you. Good luck!
By myself, I would prefer new shapes for some of the loads of racing series missing in GP2.

Re: Magic Data Editor
I've sent a new editor to Andreas. I think you all will like it. It will still need those dependencies (.NET framework and Visual C++ redistributable).

Re: Magic Data Editor
Some news... Unknown 11 is "Semi-pro grip". If you let it as 16384, cc laptimes in semi-pro will be the same than in ace level. Lower values give worst times, higher gives better. Times in pro level are somewhere near semi-pro and ace. It doesn't affect rookie and amateur. About the tyre profiles. D...

Re: Le Mans Series 2008
The BTCC carset is mine (Dan Richards), never heard of the ATCC carset though! To post it on the site simply e-mail it to Andreas Schulz, his e-mail address should be on the grandprix2.de homepage. Glad to see someone else is having a bash at something different, I'm also planning on a V8 Supercars...

Re: March 761B - 1977 F1 carset - Texture Mapping
That's the idea, but I can't garantee the realism due to gp2 limitations and my lack of knowledge about it. But I'm sure it will give you guys some funV12-Power wrote:The screenshots look very promising. Combined with authentic tracks and physics it'll probably the most realistic mod for GP2 ever!

Re: Magic Data Editor
Well, here goes another update. Few things changed about the magic data, but there's a nice new feature which is not really related to the magic data. Now we can edit the grip and wear for each tyre type! I've discovered it while doing some research about gp2 phisycs (I've lost all the data I did ge...

Re: Season 2009
The new rear wings really make them look like F3 cars. I agree with AD. Everybody likes pretty cars, but the racing is more important than the looks. And at least ther won't be those aerodinamic appendices.

Re: March 761B - 1977 F1 carset - Texture Mapping
Thank you, DJS. I've found some help to work on the physics, and there are few tracks which still need some work, so I think it won't take long untill I release it.
