Re: GP2Mem - live memory editor for GP2 (Safety car/additional slipstream)
Nice! I had a similar tool (also called GP2Mem lol) that I never released. I thought about also implementing the "virtual safety car" but never got it quite right. Something cool that you can do is implementing DRS and KERS. @samsepi0l by the description it looks like it is simulating more draft ...

... time and time again but I can't solve this. I see Ralph Smith talks about an "advanced object editing tutorial" but I don't know if this ever got created - and I have searched and can't find it.

Re: changing the CC car setups in the track file (wing, gears and brake bias)
I never got any relevant results from changing the ccs brake balance so usually I will just tweak the wing values and the gear values to match the top speeds I'm getting from my car setup

... speed but on Linux its only available with snaps or flatpak (which I don't like) so I'm pretty keen to give FreeDOS a try instead. I already got the windows variant of ece running in wine but it feels off to how I remembered it. Worse yet its a dosbox window inside a pseudo-windows wine window ...

... a game port. The whole idea is to use my old Thrustmaster wheel from 1998 with this rig. FreeDOS is nice because you can boot it from USB, it's got better support for modern hardware etc, also GP2 runs just fine. However, you have to disable sound :( Long story shot: Everything is incredibly ...

Re: dosbox ece is dead
I got the latest windows version working in wine, it seems to run OK, proper speed as expected. Maybe the PO is a bit high, its floating between 50-70% and sometimes going up to 90 in certain scenarios. Its not a perfect solution ...

... mail sending. This is a big problem! :-k I've tried to contact Andreas (AAS) several times over the past few years - but unfortunately never got through. I will try to initiate an update in the next few days. There may be some offline time. Of course, I have to back up the forum first. Hopefully ...

Re: fastest and easiest way to modify a CC driving-line when modifying or creating a new track?
I started building the KymiRing and got as far as having the track laid out but stumbled at the CC line, it seems so convoluted! Given up on it now but if anyone can help with how to do the CC line I'd also appreciate it!
