Re: Car numbers won't show up in race
If you export a new carset, make sure you export the car numbers too in Gpedit. This will put the numbers in the right position.

Re: Guide how to launch GP2 in Dosbox for first time?
All the programs you need are in the editors, patches and utilities section of this site. Track editor and gp2edit work in Win10. You can install gplaps with the link from above but then you need D-fend reloaded. I don't know how to get Laps working without it. Well at least you're running so that's...

Re: Guide how to launch GP2 in Dosbox for first time?
Hey man, good to have an old member back! I installed GP2/dosbox with D-fend, wich is a graphical environment for Dosbox. You can download D-fend too. This link sends you to a full guide wich helped me a lot. I used it in Windows 10 so there should be no problems with modern computers. But if you ru...

Re: Modding GP2 to the 1992 season and beyond
Hello Peke, I had to find everything too when I restarted GP2 in 2016. And yes, it's very time consuming because you have to download, unpack, put the files in the game, try it out and adjust data. And you will encounter some problems but I'm able to mod or change everything I want without any probl...

Happy new year to you all!
I hope for better times although GP2 was a good friend in boring moments.

You did a fantastic job.
Wheels are perfect and the cockpit looks great. This a great addition for GP2.

Re: Wheel/Tyre exporting
The easiest way would be to find jam files with the same texture dimensions as the one in the carset, put them in your gamejams folder and then export the jams from the carset with GP2Edit. If that's not possible, maybe the carset author has working jams they can share? The workaround is manually b...

Wheel/Tyre exporting
Hey guys, this is an old GP2 issue wich I could solve in the past but somehow I got stuck. I downloaded the new 2020 carset and I want to put in the new Pirelli tyres that came with it. As most of us know, when you export these tyres with GP2edit, the bug of flickering rear tyres occur because the t...

Re: (off topic) Check out my Ayrton Senna Mclaren Bedroom Paintjob
That's really cool! I would prefer some softer colors in my bedroom but I give you 10 points out of 10 for the idea and execution.

Re: TdK Gp2 Stuff (WIP and bits)
Thank you guys. Always nice to get positive reactions to my work. Imagine that some cars take up more than 10 hours of work... :-s Great job!!! These liveries look so much better on the older style carshape Somehow i think the same. You get the nostalgic view and feel of the game, combined with tod...

Re: I can't install
Welcome Lobo! Just like Ismael I downloaded Gp2. It was very easy to get the game running because it was already "put" in dos ox/d-fend. But I understand you rather use your own CD rom for it. I found this on the forum. It's originally for vista but I think it should work for Windows 10 too. Good lu...

Re: Lewis Hamilton equals Schumacher and mentions...
Yeah this is fun to read for old school nerds like us who still play GP2!
So it is obvious that Hamilton was able to achieve his great success thanks to a legendary F1 simulation game
