Re: GP2 and Windows 7

I am using Windows 7 on an Acer Aspire 5720Z laptop with 3.2GHz Intel Pentium processor, and DosBox 0.74, and the game plays fine but I find that processor occupancy is often above 100%. Is there any way around this, other than turning down the graphics detail level? And is it harmful to your comput...

Re: A new track ?

What a beautiful track. Thank you so much to all of you who make tracks and carsets, please keep doing it forever. I don't know how many people in the world still play GP2 (probably all of them are on this forum) but for us it's beautiful. With all this modding power, this is really an extraordinary...

Re: f1 2014 carset..

I'm just posting here to say I love that you are keeping GP2 alive and I will keep following this forum, unfortunately I don't know how to make tracks or carsets but I love the work you have been doing on the new carsets. Keep it up!! GP2 forever :D

Re: A new track ?

Hey everyone, I'm sure you have plenty of things to do, but I just saw this circuit (from another old game) for the first time: KT5P10FOaC4 If anyone has time and feels like it, maybe this would be a good track to make? I think it would look great in GP2. I would do it myself but I don't have the sk...

Re: The terror of the track maker

Interesting. But I only see something that looks like a glitch/out of place in the first picture, not in the second one. :)

Re: Graphic Failure

Sorry for the bump, but I have the same problem. Even if I change the rcr-distance in GP2LAP.CFG to 200000, no matter whether I put 60000 or 200000 or whatever, the rcr jams keep popping up at about the same distance. Is there a maximum for this? Or are some tracks just too big? I also edit the hexa...

Re: 50's Monza track

http://www.f1mania.net/gp2/fgp2/prewar/pistas/monza_anel.zip This is the track which Formula Gp2 league did a lot of races in very past seasons, from 1934 to 1938, 1954 to 1956, 1960 to 1961 (2002 to 2004). The track is with NO SPONSORS, like the Monza track in the 30's and 50's. This track was mad...

GP2WET sound not working

Hello,

I'm using GP2WET and it works fine, except the sound doesn't work. That is, I still get sound, but not the wet weather sound GP2WET is supposed to export.

Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks!

Re: 50's Monza track

That's it!!! Thank you so much! Okay, there is indeed very little scenery and some of the camera viewpoints and parts of the cc-line are a bit weird, but this is it, the old track, with no chicanes and a banked oval! Again, thank you! Now, I wish someone would take this track and update the scenery ...

Re: Setups for old tracks?

It is only in Spa. I use it in slot 11, the same slot the Spa track is in the original version of GP2.

rremedio, how do I configure the track? I can load it into Track Editor and there are figures for all sorts of physics, but I don't know what to change them to.

Re: 50's Monza track

Does anyone have the old track with the oval, so without the modern chicanes?

EDIT: I mean the version by Antonio Pessoa. Why is it not available for download?

Re: Setups for old tracks?

Hm, that is weird... When I drive on the Old Spa-Francorchamps track (which is very beautiful, by the way), my car is always 10-12 seconds slower than the leader, no matter what setup I use, even if I copy the CC setup from Track Editor... Has anyone else experienced this? Maybe there is something w...

Re: A new track ?

Wow, Peze, that is wonderful. I didn't even know you could do that with GP2. If only you would make modern tracks like that (but then again, maybe older circuits are better suited to beautiful scenery). I wish I had the time and skills to design tracks, but alas... I hope you will continue to make G...
