Re: rremedio's website and thread

I have two questions about Spa15: - is it recommended for slot 11, or works anywhere? - does it need GP2Limit (or Gp2Lap, I dont' remember now)? Some of more recent tracks need GP2Limit (like Singapore, if I'm not wrong) because of file size, but I wasn't able to run that application on Win 8.1. Yo...

Re: indycar racing 2 , grand prix 2 buttons

You can map keys as you want when using Dosbox.

http://www.dosbox.com/DOSBoxManual.html#KeyMapper

ICR2 is a great simulator, but it's very hard to drive with keyboard.

Re: A new track ?

As far as I know you should make the pit lane when the track layout is ready. Then at least the heights, track widths, verges and kerbs must be made before the CC-line.

Re: A new track ?

Have you read "How To Make An Accurate Track ..."?

The end of the track doesn't automatically connect to the start. When you change one corner you have to change other sectors too to make the end meet the start of the track.

Re: Reversed grid

At least you can change the qualification grips with GP2edit for the latter race depending on the results of the first one. I don't know any easier way. I think using big enough differences in qualification grip should give you the grid you want.

Re: Shaky car?

The bumps make the human player's driving more realistic but the problem is that they don't affect the cc cars at all. I think even smaller bumps affect the plank wear although you cannot feel any shaking. By the way the bumps can be changed at Track Config - Various Data Blocks.

Re: 2011 carset

Reducing the power of the cars might help...

But if you want to make use of the huge power just lengthen the gear ratios. Great to see a 2011 carset anyway.

Re: A few questions

2. It depends on where the adverts are situated but you have to understand the basics of track editing to do this. You can find tutorials here: http://www.grandprix2.de/Anleitung/tutus/tutus.htm If adverts are on objects read from object tutorials about textures. If they are elsewhere read from comm...

Re: My first track (STOPPED PROJECT)!!!

It's not that complicated, just change the Length and Angle values and see how the shape of the track gets changed. For me making the heights is much more difficult.

I think reading the basic tutorials and watching existing tracks on the editor are the best ways to learn.

Re: My first track (if can be called track)!!!

Well I had learned only how to rotate the track but still I cant make one single corner  I had readed the tutorial but its seems like I do something wrong :-k The layout is made by just changing the length and angle values in the track change dialog. I think you should make the layout you want...
