Good evening from Germany!
Has anybody started working on updates for 2024?
In this early phase of the season there is no need for a fully detailed carset. Just the 10 team liveries please. That would be very appreciated!

Creating the WORST F1 circuit ever!
First watch this:

Description: There are plenty of ultimate F1 circuits out there but we've created the ultimate BAD one using the worst parts of tracks from the current calendar.
I'm really interested in driving this circuit. Anyone else?

Re: A new track ?
Interesting. I never thought that the "parking lots" next to the track were there to make amateur motorsports safer.
But... the post was not the desired answer to my question regarding Monaco.

Monaco 2000 > 2021
About monaco new pit-lane: I've done some tries already last year, but monaco doesn't seem to suit a long pit exit because everytime i try, i get some strange bugs with cars crashing into walls etc...  Also the track has changed more than only the pitlane, so it's better to give it a...

Re: 2021 Season
Is somebody able and willing to paint the new helmets (In-Game AND Menu) of Tsunoda, Schumacher, Masepin and Alonso? And the latest liveries of all 10 teams? I have already calculated the values for the teams (Horse Power and reliability) and for the drivers (Grip Level) from the first Grand Prix at...

Hey folks.
As you might have seen, the newest car liveries for the 2020 F1 season are visible during the opening test at Barcelona.

Re: Non-championship races vs. championship difference
Idk who figured it out, probably René Smit since there is a feature in GPxPatch that allows you to use a fixed seed (so many people can try the same race, and very important in GP3+ competitions since they have the possibility of changing weather conditions, which is also attached to the random num...

Car numbers 1 - 99
Since a few years now F1 drivers are allowed to choose their car number. Numbers from 1 to 99 (Antonio Giovinazzi) are available - in GP2 only numbers from 0 to 40. There was such a big development for GP2 in the past and I can't believe that this problem isn't solved yet... :-k Is it a big deal to ...

Singapore Circuit breaks GP2.exe down!
Did anyone experience problems with the Singapore circuit built by Thomas Kost and Tim de Klein in 2008? When I install the circuit and load it for a GP2-session ist crashes the whole game (GP2 shuts off). My GP2 is already patched to "MAX" with GP2Limit. What could be the problem? Should I import t...

Maybe this will help: http://grandprix2.de/gp2forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=1038&hilit=corrupt Quote: "you can fix the circuit file with the "GP2 CC Car Pitstop Sanity" tool. (Available on grandprix2.de, "Old GP2 Editors, Patches, Utilities") Simply choose the pitstop strategy for the computer controlle...

One value fits all?
Hey guys, the problem with the pit lane entry and exit while using tracks in different slots is well known. See http://www.grandprix2.de/wissen/slotpitlane.htm . Are there "Magic Data" values for "Distance To Pit In" and "Distance To Pit Out" working on (nearly) EVERY custom designed circuit? Has an...

Tracks and slots (further question)
Hey guys, I struggled over the section "Tracks and slots" within the Grand Prix 2 Knowledge Base. See http://www.grandprix2.de/wissen/01wissen.htm . As explained the difference in a lap time of 1:00,000 between Slot 2 (Aida) and Slot 16 (Adelaide) is about 10 seconds due to different "Magic Data" in...

Re: Longest GP2 race possible?
The race should be a bit longer if you choose the "Beginner" level because of higher lap times.
Maybe this will give you the missing 10 minutes and the race will reach 5 hours.
