Description	: Chayka, a flat circuit in the industrial western suburbs of Kiev, Ukraine. Its first races were in 1975, when the circuit was built when Ukraine was still a Soviet Republic, the second permanent racing circuit in that Union of Socialist Republics (after Bikernieki, in Latvia, built in 1966). In the first years of Chayka, it was considered the most modern Soviet permanent racing facility, hosting several international races from the Eastern Bloc, as the Cup of Peace and Friendship of the Socialist Countries, also known as Formula Easter. Chayka remained in the F-Easter schedule up to 1983, when a tragedy struck the F-Easter race of that year: the Polish driver Christian Grochowski was killed when his car was hit by another and crashed under the bridge, in the last corner of the circuit. Chayka was deemed too dangerous, and the Soviet round of following F-Eastern seasons was moved to Bikernieki from 1984 onwards (up to 1990, when the series was over due the crisis in the Eastern Bloc). The Chayka circuit follow its path in the independent Ukraine after 1991, hosting mostly domestic races. However, the economic crisis during the 1990s in independent former Soviet countries led Chayka to a complete disrepair, and after the 1998 season the circuit was shortened, and used for domestic race up to the 2022 criminal Putin invasion. This GP2 version is about the old and longer (4,5 kms) Chayka, used from 1975 to 1998.

List of winners:
Don't need... you all know Chayka was open in 1975, and never held any international Western series, just Cup of Peance and Frienship of the Socialist Countries from the late 1970s to 1983, and became disused bit a bit after a tragedy with a Polish driver in the 1983 Formula Easter race, and mainly during the 1990s economic crisis in independent Ukraine after the end of the USSR. Chayka became just a national venue, mostly for domestic racing, and was shortened after the 1998 season, and blah-blah-blah...
