Description	: The Lausitzring GP circuit layout (4.35 kms or 2.7 miles). Thomas Kost made the mid-2000s DTM sprint track layout in 2009, a shorter track, which cuts the oval backstretch to an access directly to the infield road course long right sweep turn. Now, in August 2023, I (Antonio) made the full GP circuit, which includes the long oval backstretch, the complex of turns after it and a long downhill straight to the long right sweep. This current version includes some scenery improvements as well, and two versions: late 2000s Lausitzring adverts (all made by Thomas Kost in early 2009), and a 2023 Formula 1 Adverts. That sounds a good idea for Liberty Media to get back the F-1 German Grand Prix in a couple of years ahead, at Lausitzring, the nearest permanent circuit from the German capital, Berlin, a modern motorsports venue opened in the year 2000 to replace the former Berliner street circuit AVUS. If Hockenheim or Nrburgring aren't able to pay the feeds for F-1 in recent years, Lausitzring has some history helding several international motorsports series, which paid visits to there, like World Superbike, A1GP once (2005), FIA GT once (2000), European Truck, European Formula 3, EuroBoss, etc, including the German-based international series DTM every year. The oval circuit, made for GP2 by myself in 2009 using Thomas' Lausitz DTM as base, was the home of two Indycar/CART races in the early-2000s, including that tragic event in September 2001, days after the 9/11 (the race was renamed "American Memorial") which witnessed the Alex Zanardi accident and his legs amputation. Few months after another tragedy in Lausitzring, which costs the life of popular former Ferrari driver Michele Alboreto, who was testing an Audi sport-prototype at the long test track beside the main circuit. Despite the initial tragedies in the history of this venue, Lausitzring became a solid venue for motorsport in Central Europe, and the circuit was bought by Dekra in late 2010s.

* Construction *

  Base : Lausitz DTM by Thomas Kost (made in 2009)
  Editor used	: Track Editor, Object editor and Jam Editor
  Known Bugs	: Nothing serious, just some ribbons appearing in front of some walls, mainly in the sectors where the road course merges with the oval,
		  and the second bridge over the starting grid appears behind the stand roof during a while
  Build Time	: A lot of sparsed days... I finished in few days during late August 2023

* Installation *

1.
Please, extract the folder "LAUSITGP" (and the JAM files in it) in your ..GP2/Gamejams directory.

2.
Extract Lausitzring (GP Circuit)_Germany_2008.dat or Lausitzring (GP Circuit)_Germany_2023.dat to your ..GP2/circuits directory, and rename it as F1ct08 or F1ct10 (I developed the track in slot 08 and tested it in slot 10, but the track probably works well in other slots)

4.
Start Gp2 and drive...........

List of winners:
Don't need... you all know Lausitzring (the road course) held a lot of international series since its opening in 2000. Including the 2005 A1 Grand Prix of Nations event, some World Superbike races since 2001, FIA GT in 2000, DTM since 2000 (despite the race cancelled due a strong rainstorm in the inaugural event), EuroBoss, FIA Sportscar in the early 2000s, European Truck racing, European Formula Three, German Formula 4... and Indycar/CART twice and some stock car ASCAR races on the oval during those same early 2000s years, blah-blah-blah...
