Description : The best version of Buenos Aires for GP2 up to date, merging the best of the previous versions for GP2, with the accuracy of the GP3 original Buenos Aires. Opened in March 1952 as the first permanent racing circuit in Argentina, and the second in Latin America (after Interlagos), quickly the "Autdromo de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires" became one of the most important in the international schedules during the 1950s, the heyday of Juan Manuel Fangio and several other Argentine drivers. Part of the Formula One calendar for some years, leaving and coming back twice, in 1970s and 1990s. Also World Sportscars (Endurance), Formula 2, Formula 3000 and MotoGP visited the circuit from the 1950s to the 1990s, intermittently. Buenos Aires has several track layouts possible, officially 14, with some minor changes since its opening. Usually a clockwise track, in 1954, all international races there were run in the anticlockwise direction. In the 1950s, all World Sportscars races were run using some avenues around the Autdromo as part of the circuit. In 1971 a fatal crash of Italian Ignazio Giunti in the World Sportscars race led the Argentine organizers to build a right-left chicane just after the "Horquilla" (the last hairpin of the circuit) in 1972 to prevent such kind of incident again in front of the pit straight. In the same year, also a "S" named "Chicane Ascari" was built after the very long "Recta del Lago" (lake straight). In 1994 the "Horquilla" was sharpened to be safer for Formula One standards. In 1995, just before the return of F-1 to Argentina, the organizers built a alternative downhill "S", named in honor of Ayrton Senna, to bypass the fast Tobogan "S". During the 7 decades history of Buenos Aires circuit, several international races were canceled by various reasons, mostly including economic or political instability in Argentina. Since the 2001 economic crisis in Argentina, Buenos Aires no more held any international events from overseas, only Argentine or South American series. This GP2 version is about the 1998 Formula 1 track, the "circuit number 6", using the then new Senna "S".

* Construction *
Base : Original Microprose Estoril + Original GP3 Buenos Aires (only track, pitlane and cc-line data)
Editor(s) used  	: Jam Editor,
		  	  Track Editor,
			  Objecteditor,
			  MS Paint (XP)
Known Bugs : Very few bugs
Build Time : Some days in early October 2021, merging GP3 Buenos Aires track data with a GP2 scenery

* Installation *
1.
(if you already have new tracks on the game jump to STEP 2):
patch the game with a util that obliges the game to read the tracks
from the harddisk. These utils are gp2nocd or trakonhd.
Search for one of them on the net and install it. This program will
create a new directory called "circuits": you have to copy there
ALL the 16 track files (F1ct01, F1ct02...........F1ct16)

2.
Place the 'BSAIRES' directory from the ZIP file into the Gp2 'gamejams' directory.

3.
Place Buenos Aires_Argentina_1998.dat files in the circuits directory. Slot 03 was recently tested, and the track run well in it. Others slots was not tested, but probably should work well.

4.
Start Gp2 and drive...........
