Description : Rio de Janeiro is a city where had a lot of tradition in motor racing. Since the 1930s when the Grand Prix cars ran around the Gvea street circuit and its more than 11 kilometers, and since the mid-1960s when the Jacarepagu permanent race track was first built. After a complete revamping of Jacarepagu in mid-1970s, rising to the international FIA standards, that circuit became part of the Formula One schedule for more than a decade. Even after the loss of F-1 in late 1989, Rio de Janeiro held international races for a while, mainly from the mid-1990s to mid-2000s, when Jacarepagu was the Brazilian home for MotoGP and Indycar races.
However, Brazilian politicians begun to sour the international races in Rio de Janeiro when a former mayor of the city did the possible to cancel the Indycar race in early 2001, and years later, to remove Rio Grand Prix from MotoGP schedule, and to cut almost half of Jacarepagu's track, in order to built a arena for the 2007 Panamerican Games. Some more years, the politicians from Rio de Janeiro did the unthinkable: the complete closing and demolition of the circuit in order to make room for a Olympic Park for the 2016 Olympic Games. The real estate speculation and its developers was the real winners of this game promoted by politicians from Rio de Janeiro since 2001. With no permanent race track, Rio de Janeiro is away of any motor racing since July 2012. Since than, some speculation arose about new venues for racing. In 2014 was speculated a street circuit in Marina da Gloria, less than half a kilometer from the famous Sugarloaf Mountain, for a race in the first FIA Formula E season. But it never materialised. Few years before Jacarepagu's demolition, some motor racing authorities talked about a permanent racing facility in the neighbourhood of Deodoro, to be constructed just after the 2016 Olympic Games. It never became real. Since early 2019, months after the "election" and "inauguration" of a politician from Rio de Janeiro as "President" of Brazil, the speculation about a permanent circuit in Deodoro was bring back. He and its supporters, and other allied politicians, told to the media about plans to "stole" Formula One's Brazilian Grand Prix from So Paulo's Interlagos circuit to Rio's Deodoro in 2021 or 2022.
Those who know how things works in Rio and in Brazil know that probably Deodoro NEVER will have a permanent racing circuit, because that area is a enviromental protected land, with a lot of native trees. Those promisses about a racing circuit in Deodoro is just a hoax promoted by politicians who wants free propaganda to their names - this includes the current far-right populist "President" of Brazil.
Some maps of Deodoro circuit was presented to media during 2019, but this GP2 circuit is NOT about some of that maps. I chose to draw another track layout for a fictional Deodoro circuit, more proper to the current Brazilian politics |;-)
I drawed a 7,1 kms (4.4 miles) track layout for this fictional circuit, with a lot of downhills and uphills, long straightways, and some fast turns!
Since this is a fictional GP2 track over a fictional idea about a probable fictional circuit in a fictional place for racing, I chose let the good mood take my imagination so far away, and even a official name for the fictional Deodoro circuit was chosen: Bozoring. It has a lot to do with the current Brazil's most famous politician...
And since I was building a fictional race track for GP2, why not to insert some adverts more proper to the current Brazil? The answer was: Yes. Probably, most of Brazilian GP2 players will understand all the scenery, and the GP2 players from other countries can make a idea about how is Brazil now. Well, first of all: if Deodoro's forest and trees has to be cleared to make room for the permanent racing circuit in Rio de Janeiro, why not to bring here the situation which is facing the Amazon Rainforest? Well, this GP2 track gotta to be as real as possible, even for a fictional circuit!

			  Objecteditor,
			  MS Paint (XP)
Known Bugs : Few bugs. Few fences or ribbons flashing.

* Installation *
1.
(if you already have new tracks on the game jump to STEP 2):
patch the game with a util that obliges the game to read the tracks
from the harddisk. These utils are gp2nocd or trakonhd.
Search for one of them on the net and install it. This program will
create a new directory called "circuits": you have to copy there
ALL the 16 track files (F1ct01, F1ct02...........F1ct16)

2.
Place the 'bozoring' directory from the ZIP file into the Gp2 'gamejams' directory.

3.
Place Bozoring - Deodoro_Rio, Brazil_2022.dat file in the circuits directory. Slots 02 and 11 was tested, and the track run well. Others slots was not tested.

4.
Start Gp2 and drive...........
