NaBUrean Reanimation Track Pack

Many people haven't heard a word about Grand Prix 2. Other have played, and some are extremely fanatic. And of those, most think it doesn't live anymore. Wrong. I'm the last idiot who still makes tracks for this old game.

I'm forcing myself to finish tracks, and make beautifrul scenery and competitive cc-lines, without forgetting to have a good time while driving, of course. These are my best tracks ever. The rest of them, including Parque Rod, and in particular Eucapino, are just waiting their turn.

Insane!

Do you have those tracks, with no actual jumps, but with inhuman hills? Well, here I have a collection of those straights and corners from other fict tracks like Rhodesia and Desert, some mine... and some that were in fact designed for imitating my neighbourhood! In real world, the height difference are less than 10 meters; here the gap is slightly different. Simple scenery, an incomplete tunnel... be careful with the Calvo's KERBS!

Snowcross

Have you ever seen about Matti's (who's Matti?) Tiirismaa K-300 fictrack? It featured a huge ski jump. And you might have heard Bern-Grauholz 98, by Addie. Not the 99 one, the Spa/Suzuka like, I'm talking about the preview version. Starting grid before 15krpm corner... and two incredible jumps! Well, both tracks together. Explosive.

The only corners are the first, almost like the original Matti's paradise, the chicane a bit simplified, the spectator's tribune for the ski jump and the last one for track matching. Ice and snow don't allow good turning and braking, and under- or overturn is easy, but don't care too much about them. Main are the jumps.

How to take them? At the first one, before leaving the ramp, turn full left because of a cc-line glitch. I always jump 175 m... The second one is actually just luck. If the car ends facing forwards, cool. And try to keep in the middle, the sides are gravel-like, very slow. The third one is simple: enter straight and don't turn.

The long straights mantain the racing flow: my record is round 200 km/h in average (80 secs for the 4,4 km track).

Super-Stage 3

Remember the Rally track by Alpha? Well, here it's shortened and with much more scenery. First asphalt tight esses, in which the improved handling appears clearly; the famous bridge, reconverted to a rocky tunnel; the gravel section, featuring some of the original corners and the famous dangerous jump. Then the town, almost exactly like Alfa made it: two 90 degrees cutting the long blocks with houses of the Spa GT pits... A straight with a tricky bump-corner house, another 90 and the forest section (note that the original Rally has no grass). The narrow esses have this time irrealistic hills. Then a twisty straight, a huge jump for strongness test and a 90 inmediatly. Careful, the starting esse is very trick. Times? About 2 minutes...

Ratonera4

My first gp2 project is each day better, this time with heights and home-made scenery!
Length is again "the shortest": 1,25 km; original shape, heights and width scaled. It's so short, twisty, narrow... pick up a kart. Anyway I raised grip, brakes and aceleration in general to allow decent times. The handling and power is truly incredible...
The pits would enter only in a weird way if I didn't put them right under the main straight. But such a big height change in pits wouldn't be also suitable; that means the starting grid is four meters above the rest of the track.

Setup is very important; I use wings 20-15 and gears 16 20 25 33 42 51.
Saint Devote... press f4 and close your eyes. Casino is pretty easy, but Mirabeau and Loews, of course, are the killers. For a good time, crash and turn... but if you bounce too much, you may get stuck and have to put reverse to go on. The first split is just after Loews. My record is 15 secs, but 30 is not unusual!

Portier is easy, and the tunnel awsome. It's not very welll done, but you can get up to 250 km/h in 3 seconds with short gears. Then the chicane... brake or crash? Control or speed? Try by yourself, I don't remember which one worked.

Tabac... next split's hot time is 13 seconds. The pool, the pit entry (it's hard to make a appropiate tunnel, like Legendary Martijn did in Tunnel-Track) the upstairs-LaRascasse is a piece of cake, Anthony boring Noghes and the finish line. My best split is 12, that means 40s the ideal record. My real time, 43:6. Keep practising.

Hope you've read this. Have fun!
